What I found most interesting wasn't even part of the story and what they spoke about explicitly, although Prince did make some interesting points: flooding the tunnels in Gaza, how the bureaucratization of the war in Afghanistan caused us to become less lethal...

Eric Price and his business (He's part of: https://www.constellis.com/) has a vested interest in the Ukraine war, at least that is what one would think. Blackwater, now Academi is present in Ukraine, has been since long before the war began in 2002. There is a huge mercenary presence in Ukraine both from those hired by the Ukraine directly (their foreign legion: https://ildu.com.ua/) and those working for major security firms like Academi.

Yet, he is an advocate for this war in ending. May it be seeing the handwriting on the wall (change in public support and political climate) and staying ahead of the ball, or principals (that this is a stupid war from the beginning), it does not matter, the bottom line is that he sees the bigger and long term picture.

There are wars which are truly necessary and even morally defensible: Just War concept. But the only real reason for Ukraine is that some in the West had to learn a lesson that Russia isn't quite as weak and appeasement oriented as we think, that we can't just do with them whatever we want. Respect them. All this money, death, cripples, refugees, destruction of infrastructure and an economy, so that some security advisor at the White House (example: Sullivan), or a foreign service officer (Nuland) that never served in the DoD can learn a lesson.
