New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) is under increasing political pressure as she faces a likely competitive reelection fight and legal battles with President Trump.
Hochul’s approval rating has been underwater for months as she surpasses the midpoint of her first full term in office and seems likely to have a serious primary battle on the horizon from Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-N.Y.), who has become one of her sharpest critics. Presuming she gets past Torres, popular GOP Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.) seems equally likely to run and could give Republicans their best shot at winning New York’s gubernatorial race in years.

The Ho needs to Chill. She’s in over her head. Her little slut, Letitia James better settle her big bubble butt down too before she finds herself in jail.
I want her, Newsom, Pritzker, and those two ridiculous women in Mich and Maine to keep doing what they are doing. Keep acting like democrats, keep pushing the stupid leftist policies, keep fighting Trump as he keeps his promises...
Let the voters see what voting for democrats gives them. There is nothing better than watching this party of traitors destroy itself.
Need an acronym to make New York red again.
MNYRA is too lame.
Great post!
Sung to the tune of Elvira.
The NYS Legislature is overrun with Dems. Unless that changes, we are sooooooo sc*****.
Her handlers must have told her she looks strong standing up to Trump.
Truth is, she looks like a shrieking harpy who cannot detect which way the wind is blowing.
Steve McLaughlin Co Exec may also run, but he isn’t Ed Cox’s mini me. The big “if” is election reform. If the Trump Administration institutes vote fraud prevention then I truly believe there will be chaos in Albany. One party Demoncrat rule will be blown up. People are PO’ed here, BIGLY!
All of us upstaters (except maybe Westchester, Erie, Monroe, Cayuga and Tompkins counties) want her GONE!
NYC now has RCV for a reason.
NYS’s elections aren’t secure.
We need to do two things.
1) Secure our elections.
2) Refuse to allow Deep State to choose our candidates for us.
end motor voter, institute voter ID. Good luck to us as we have one party rule due to the former.
The way the members of the Democratic caucus are tearing each other up, the two (or more) factions might sprout as new party entities.
And therein lies opportunity.
Sadly due to endemic fraud and demographics, it is virtually impossible for a decent, rational Republican to be elected to statewide office in New York. It does not mean however that a Republican Congress and Trump need to continue subsidizing New York and it corrupt Democrat leaders with Federal funds. Without those funds Hochul will come to wish she was not Governor.
NY State and NY City politics have been among the nations most corrupt for the best part of the last 200 years or more.
That holds true no matter which branch of the Uni-Party has held power in the capitol.
There have been occasional breaks in the pattern as when Rudy Giuliani was elected Mayor of NY City but the big money political machines and labor unions always bounce back.
Statewide the majority of counties are red and mostly small towns, villages, hamlets and farm country.
But the conservative and patriot voters are always overwhelmed by the large city, welfare and university blue vote.
“Her handlers must have told her she looks strong standing up to Trump.

That will win over the Dems in NY.
“The big “if” is election reform. “
Election fraud takes money. I think cutting off agencies like USAID is going to help turn the money spigot off. That whole agency was a money laundering machine.
Trump’s administration is cutting off the funds for fraud
Give them enough rope and they’ll do the job themselves.
“HANDLERS”
DO THEY STICK AROUND 24/7/365 to help her run NY???
Her “handlers” will be running for cover after she gets indicted for RICO/conspiracy to violate the immigration laws.
