" Shannon Kane was fired on Sunday night from her job as a planner tasked with administering National Environmental Policy Act reviews of the district’s projects.
“Anything that we do—timber projects, range, prescribed fire—every single thing that the Forest Service does are federal actions that go through NEPA,” Kane said. "
I expect to see leftist terrorists intentionally set fires to make Trump look bad.
These people will stop at nothing.
Yup, its a tree.

spit.
Trees are plants, like lettuce.
It’s okay to harvest them and plant more.
No common sense.
I wouldn’t call it a purge. I’d call it trimming the fat or downsizing.
Are the remaining employees claiming they can’t perform necessary Forest Service tasks like basic maintenance and wildfire mitigation? If so, fire them, too. And hire someone capable of providing basic services for forest management. The remaining forest service employees don’t have nearly the own they think they do.

of
it
this is where the eco commie crimes get committed .
more agency eco employees need investigated for fraud and fired,
not less imho.
Sadly, I wouldn't doubt it.
Forest service and parks need to be STATE forests and STATE parks.
Outside of Article I, Clause 18, the feds have no business on state lands.
our wildlife biologist admitted to me that he swapped suitable habitat acreage number with total acreage , thus cooking the books to get the owl listed as endangered
when in fact there was a nesting pair every 1.5 miles in suitable habitat in our resource are that proved it was 100% saturation ,, not only not endangered,, but as thick as the birds would nest.
SPIT
i tried to blow the whistle
no one would touch the subject with a 10 foot pole
i did not receive another gs5 nte 180 as a silviculture contract administrator.
go figure.
Back in the 90s, I had a brother-in-law who worked for the Forest Service. He’d been working there for about 15 years. He was telling me that with all the new affirmative action BS going on, his region ended up with a Hispanic woman being left in charge. He got really pissed when she met with his bunch and actually told them, “All you white boys might as well start packing. You’re not going to be around much longer.”
Minnesota would just give the land away.
All maintenance should be privatized.
I live in Payette Idaho, which is the county seat of Payette County, which is where Payette national Forest is located.
I am happy this woman and others like her got fired.
Which in my book means this is a good start.
Maybe if the Gederal Government got out of the business of managing more than 50% of the land in Idaho and gave it to the State to run this might solve the problem.
