Never forget that Biden's White House took a $7.5 billion investment and built a grand total of eight electric vehicle charging stations over two years, which is just a hair-plug shy of his target of 500,000 EV stations by 2030.

There are a number of abandoned industrial sites on the south side that would have fit the bill. Whatever they did there would have been an improvement, or at least wouldn’t have made things worse, and if it failed, it would have been just another abandoned site on the south side.
