Why all Americans? Half of American adults pay no federal income tax at all. Refund a larger amount to those of us who do.

Quite frankly, given the enormous amount of fraud and frivolous spending DOGE has already uncovered, I believe we're entitled to a one-year tax holiday. Hell with Lindsey and his budget - starve the beast for a year and give taxpayers a break.

A check would provide a whole lot of skeptics with proof something is being done. The debit is invisible, but even $1000 of found money would be concrete proof and make it easier to dig even deeper. Call it an investment.

The first priority should be the budget deficit so we don’t keep running up more debt.
Then pay off the debt we have already incurred.
Then stop taking as much money off tax payers, rather than taking it off them and then giving it back to them in the form of a check.
