Thank you, Karen Bass. Your insane leftist policies have already burned down half of Los Angeles.

Now your soft-on-crime madness will finish the job. When in God’s name will this monster be recalled, tried, and imprisoned?

Paul A. Szypula 🇺🇸✓@Bubblebathgirl

Thieves in Los Angeles are now using stolen cars to break through the front of stores, then rob the stores, and leave the cars behind.

This is what LA has devolved into because Mayor Karen Bass is so soft on crime.

Especially when the criminals don’t fit the leftist narrative.

Come onman, times have changed, it’s a brave new world. You can’t continue to holds on to those rigid principles. Not everyone can live up to your high standards and high expectations of competency...

Reminds me of Detroit in the original ‘Robocop’ film.

Leftist governments are parasitical and survive on bloated taxes, debt and inflation to survive.

California may squeeze a few pennies more out of its local/limited tax base, but its real source of support is massive Fed.gov spending, debt and money printing on a regular basis, with occasional massive bailouts when they get really deep into trouble.

As long as that continues, California’s politics and society will not change.

But I believe Trump has ideas on how to fix this, permanently.

That’s in Eagle Rock, just two freeway exits away from Alta Dena/Eaton Fire sight. VERY DEMOCRAT area of mostly white transplants who have gentrified much of the main streets — the natives who are largely Filipino and Hispanic are more conservative leaning go figure.

I disagree with Mayor Bass on a lot of things.

But I don't live in Los Angeles, and I respect the right of its voters to vote for whoever they want, even if that person has such ridiculous policies as Bass's.

They should be shot (and killed) on sight.

“....and I respect the right of its voters to vote for whoever they want, even if that person has such ridiculous policies as Bass’s.”

I also respect the right of the non-Los Angeles voters to not subsidize the idiocy. I also respect the right of the Los Angeles voters to suffer all of the consequences from their choices.

Karen Bass is a Leftist idiot. But “half of Los Angeles” is a gross exaggeration of the extent of the fires around L.A.

We lived about 6 blocks from that scene for over 75 years. It has become a LIBERAL hell hole!...sad to see the town I lived in which was a wonderful family community, become a crime city!!

Wow! Didn’t realize you were from the area! Did you move out of CA altogether.

It’s not just what’s physically happening, it’s the spirit that has been lost that’s the true tragedy.

... Wow! Didn’t realize you were from the area! Did you move out of CA altogether.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My father owned a business right off of Eagle Rock Blvd for YEARS...I grew up on the edge of Eagle Rock , in Highland Park, then moved to Eagle Rock in 1959 when I married.
We owned a home just north of Hill Dr. in Eagle Rock for 60 years!
I graduated from Eagle Rock High School, winter 1959!
I Know the area like the back of my hand. Two sisters ( one who is 96) still live there.
We moved to La Verne, just east of the area about 25 minutes, six years ago when my hubby became ill.
I love Los Angeles, but NOT what has happened here...sigh
I drove through Altadena yesterday. The downtown business district and many residential neighborhoods look like Tokyo in 1945, although other neighborhoods are completely untouched. The public library, where I have checked out many books, was not hit, but a neighborhood across the street was laid waste as was one adjacent to it.
