The wife of a federal judge who blocked President Donald Trump’s decision to shutter government websites that promoted gender ideology founded an organization that received funds from the United States Agency for International Development, an agency that the administration is currently targeting.
U.S. District Judge John Bates issued a decision on Tuesday ordering federal health agencies to restore pages about transgenderism they had pulled after a Trump executive order about “gender ideology extremism.”

“No backend remedy could ameliorate the inability to provide all required care during an appointment time to a patient who cannot return in the future,” Bates wrote.
The ruling came as left-wing organizations and elected officials challenged Trump administration efforts to address wasteful and fraudulent projects in government.
After the ruling, however, Shore News Network noted that Bates’ wife, Carol Rhees, started a nonprofit called Hope for Children in Ethiopia.
The organization has received funds from USAID, one of the agencies facing scrutiny under the government efficiency effort.
Hope for Children “received hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal grants” between 2013 and 2021, ...
One page showed Rhees as the “Founder and President” of Hope for Children.
Elon Musk, who is leading the Department of Government Efficiency in its efforts to end rampant spending within USAID, reacted strongly to the connection.

Musk also contended in response to the USAID connection that “there needs to be an immediate wave of judicial impeachments, not just one.”
Following the comments from Musk, however, Bates ruled in favor of the DOGE on Friday, allowing the advisory service to continue accessing government records from certain federal agencies, according to Newsweek.

I have been howling FOR YEARS that we need to purge the judicial system of these ideological, conflicted and corrupt activist judges. (Be careful of that word- “purge”. X has deemed it “violent” and put me in “jail” for a week).
The left’s habit of “judge shopping” should have told the American people all they needed to know about the rotten state of our judicial system, and Jan 6th should have carved this in stone.

Bates was the same judge who was involved in the Valerie Plame Scooter Libby case.
The judge is wrong on the most basic matter. The federal website is not necessary or essential in what treatments there is for a “trans” gender person. That information is widely available from hundreds of sources and anyone treating a “trans” person knows it. Therefor, no individual’s “care” is compromised by the federal removal of transgender treatment adovocay on any federal website.
What a mess. Multiple wrongs don’t make a right.

IMPEACHMENT.
Define this judge for history through impeachment. Clear conflict and the judge refused to recuse voluntarily.
It’ll send a message to other judges to tread carefully when there’s obvious impropriety.
Judicial impeachments are worthless. Judicial deaths are needed to permanently halt the tyranny

I agree. I think that is why nearly every power couple have different names. They hide so much. They start NGOs and other organizations. They are the Jim Jones of philanthropy using my tax dollars. And whisper in their judicial spouse’s ear, keep the money flowing we are getting rich.
Sadly THAT nay be the only remedy these black robed tyrants understand.
I “lived” in the WDC area for about 30 years. It was apparent that if the truth about the wide spread incestuous corruption was known by US Citizens, they would converge on WDC with pitchforks and torches like in the Frankenstein movies. So many criminals at all levels...so little rope.
