Unaccompanied minors are now not allowed out and about at National Harbor in Prince George’s County, Maryland, from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays under a new county law created to help stop crime.
National Harbor businesses and residents requested the area be designated a special curfew zone under county law, the Prince George’s County Police Department posted on X.
That temporary curfew was imposed after around 800 juveniles wandered around the entertainment district smoking weed, fighting and shoplifting.

I find it intertesting that businesses can be fined too. Depp pockets and all that. The VIrginia Senate passed a bill about 10 days ago to allow Fairfax county to vote on building a competitor to National Harbor in Tysons corner. But the VA House of Delegates killed it. Would have been an interesting vote with large gambling interests from MD pumping money into the NO campaign and others pumping money into YES. Usually the money all goes to the YES side. But the delegates killed it thankfully.

If those “juveniles” decide to violate the curfew, it will take lots and lots of cops to round ‘em up and head ‘em out. So this should be interesting.

No surprise that Maryland has a $3 billion budget deficit. So...its a given that taxes will go up to pay for all the Leftist largesse and fiscal mismanagement.
They won’t punish them anyway so what’s the point.
That's why the offending youths parent (I doubt it's plural in most cases) will be the one punished.
I’ve often heard that Prince George’s County is a bad neighborhood. Of the various jurisdictions in the Washington DC area, that county tends to have cheaper housing. But there are reasons why housing in that area is less expensive.
That law seems racist and hateful to me.
Juveniles. Teens. Youths.
We all know what that means.
