Mitch McConnell Votes with Democrats Against Tulsi Gabbard’s DNI Confirmation

Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) voted on Wednesday with Democrat colleagues against confirming Tulsi Gabbard as the Director of National Intelligence.

McConnell’s vote underscores his repeated opposition to President Donald Trump and his America First policies. He previously voted against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s confirmation in January.

McConnell was the only Republican to vote “no” on Trump’s nomination. Every Democrat voted “no.”

Despite Democrat and McConnell’s opposition, the Senate confirmed Gabbard’s nomination by a vote of 52-48.

Mitch is trying to give Trump a few more middle fingers before retiring. What a POS.

Let’s see what happens when DOGE uncovers Turtle’s shenanigans.
You know he’s on the list.

He only brings attention to what a sad, filthy, loser he is. I hope Trump’s JD takes away his ill gotten chicom money and he lives long enough to die in poverty.

Mitch will have a system set up so that he can continue ‘voting’ against MAGA even from the grave.

If the Turtle resigned or died, the Democrat governor would appoint a Rat. But at this point what difference would it make? Ala Hitlery.

Mitch is uniparty. No one should be surprised. Not after all this time of doing this junk.

The governor is supposed to pick a republican replacement per the law. Knowing Mitch, he’ll change parties to keep the democrat governor from getting sued for not following the law.

“If the Turtle resigned or died, the Democrat governor would appoint a Rat.”

That is what I thought. However, in Kentucky they changed to law. The governor does not get to pick the replacement.

Mitch must be tried for treason and executed BEFORE HE CAN DIE OF NATURAL CAUSES. He is beyond evil.

Kentucky law, passed over the governor’s veto requires him to pick a Republican if Mitch should no longer server. The governor claims the law is unconstitutional, so it will be interesting to see what he does if push comes to shove.

They did change the law, and that law is contrary to KY’s constitution.

The Governor would ignore it and appoint a Dem.

McConnell will retire. His seat will be up for re-election next year.

And try to remember, Merrick Garland would be a Supreme Court Justice were it not for McConnell. He held off hearings until Trump was President.

And note the Dobbs decision was 6-3, but Roberts was opposed to that strong a position. Garland would have voted to retain Roe and Roberts would have had cover to fail Dobbs 4-5.

Therefore, McConnell is why Roe v Wade was overturned.

He’ll be gone soon, but remember how we got here.

This is the guy responsible for shepherding Trump’s agenda through Congress in Trump’s first term. I wonder why so much of it was stymied. /sarc
