As the first incredible month of Trump 2.0 continues, the Israeli cabinet announced on Tuesday its full support of President Donald Trump's ultimatum to the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas to release all its remaining hostages by noon on Saturday or, in the president's words, "all hell is going to break out."
An Israeli official told Fox News on Tuesday that the cabinet's declaration came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened his security cabinet after Hamas announced it would delay the next release of Israeli hostages. Netanyahu said in a statement:
The decision I passed in the Cabinet unanimously is this: If Hamas does not return our hostages by Saturday noon – the ceasefire will end, and the IDF will resume intense combat until Hamas is decisively defeated. In light of Hamas' announcement of its decision to violate the agreement and not release our hostages, I instructed the IDF last night to amass forces inside and around the Gaza Strip. This operation is currently underway and will be completed as soon as possible.
Netanyahu said of Trump: "We also welcomed the President’s revolutionary vision for the future of Gaza."
Trump predicted on Tuesday that Hamas won't meet his deadline.
I have a Saturday deadline and I don’t think they are going to make a deadline. Personally, I think they want to play tough guy, but we’ll see how tough they are.
I think the reason Hamas is playing so cute is because they probably saw the reaction to these people [hostages] that came out. I think they want time because the [hostages] are in such bad shape because they’re sending the most healthy people out, because they don’t want to send the least healthy people out.
Trump also doubled down on his noon Saturday deadline:
They either have them out by Saturday at 12 o’clock or all bets are off.
Senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri told Reuters, in response to Trump's ultimatum:
Trump must remember that there is an agreement that must be respected by both parties and this is the only way to bring back the [Israeli] prisoners. The language of threats has no value and only complicates matters.
A Hamas spokesperson said on Monday that the terrorist group will delay the next planned release of hostages in the Gaza Strip after accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement.
Over the past three weeks, the resistance leadership has monitored the enemy's violations and failure to fulfill its obligations under the agreement; including the delay in allowing the return of the displaced to the northern Gaza Strip, targeting them with direct shelling and gunfire in various areas across Gaza, and denying relief supplies of all kinds to enter as agreed, while the resistance has implemented all its obligations.
It should be noted that the above claim is typical of Hamas and its past delays and refusals to follow through on agreed-upon ceasefires, as well.
Hamas and affiliated terrorist groups continue to hold 73 hostages taken from Israel during their horrific Oct. 7, 2023, attack inside the Jewish state. An additional three hostages held captive since 2014 are still in Gaza.

So here we find ourselves, as much of the world waits and watches.
Trump continues to remain resolute on his demands, and consequences of what will happen if Hamas fails to deliver, while the terrorist organization continues to stonewall. If Trump has proven anything during his first 22 days back in the White House, it's that those who blink when he issues orders or threats do so at their own peril.
Whether or not it will be popcorn time come noon on Saturday rests solely in the lap of Hamas.
It’s time to rattle some cages in Qatar, Mr President.
L
But noon on Israeli time, or East Coast time?
If they choose to get that close, let the FO!
I suspect there are back channel discussions with the Iran and Qatar going on right now. “Get your Hamas buddies to cough up the hostages or really bad things are going to happen… to you.”
Regards,
President DJT.
President Donald “Fafo” Trump. So, Fafo and Bibi say Saturday noon. I’m thinking Fafo ran on promises made - promises kept.
I respectfully disagree because the hostage takers have no regard for Jewish human life. Look at all the atrocities in the invasions on October 7th.
The IDF has had a month to rest up and regroup. They will be ready for battle.

Well then, it could be an interesting week(end) .......
I wonder what “all hell will break out,” really means?
Start carpet bombing on the northern border and work south to Egypt. Then line up D-9 cat dozers and push the Rubble into the sea.
Even a peaceful man has his limits.
Noon israel time. 400 Est. 100 pst
I like the way you think. How about starting in the middle of Gaza, and working both directions to north and south with carpet bombing?
If you start at the east border of Gaza, and carpet bomb to the west, you can stampede Hamas into the sea. Then push the rubble out to sea on them. This could be entertaining.
I also hope the IDF and Mossad were carefully watching via drones and satellite all the Hamas scum emerging from their rat holes and carefully mapping out each entrance/exit so they can be bombed to hell the minute this cease fire collapses.
I think that Israel adapted well to Trumps decisive stance against terror. This is what I like about Trump.
He is not afraid of launching military wars against terror in order to help allied countries.
Trump is this: It’s America and its allies First. Our enemies last.
And Trump can be your best friend, or your worst enemy.
This was likely the plan all along. Make one final effort to get as many hostages out as you can then, when Hamas renegues and you’ve gotten all the hostages you can get, go back in and wipe them out.
“ The language of threats has no value and only complicates matters”
That’s rich. When Hamas isn’t murdering people they are busy making threats.
Could be a variety of factors. Hamas may want to fatten some of them up to look better. Maybe more of them are dead than they want to admit. Maybe they honestly don’t know where some of them are. They also can’t really move them around or let them outside - especially now - because they are being watched from the drones. These victims have been stuck indoors or underground for 16 straight months. Israel delivered aid but Hamas isn’t giving the prisoners much food or medical attention.
Israel takes prisoners, but they get 3 meals a day, fresh air, free medical attention and treatments. Hamas treats everyone poorly, especially the Jews. Hamas should at least gather up the sickest and most frail and deliver them right away. But they have no decency at all.
