The Trump administration has filed an emergency motion to vacate an ex parte temporary restraining order issued by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
This order egregiously interferes with the executive branch’s operations by limiting access to crucial Treasury Department systems.
On Saturday, Obama appointee Judge Paul A. Engelmayer issued an ex parte temporary restraining order that restricted access to Treasury systems exclusively to “civil servants,” explicitly excluding “all political appointees” from accessing these systems.
Ex parte means the “Trump administration lawyers weren’t given notice, weren’t allowed to argue, and weren’t even in the room. Only Democrat attorneys general were heard, ensuring a predetermined outcome.”
LAWFARE: In an egregious and unconstitutional assault on executive authority, Judge Paul Engelmayer has unilaterally forbidden all of Trump’s political appointees—including Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent—from accessing Treasury Department data. The order temporarily blocks the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, and Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, from accessing a sensitive payment system that distributes Americans’ tax returns, Social Security benefits, disability payments, and federal employee salaries.

If the revelations of massive fraudulent activity in the USAID programs are replicated in many other branches of government — not just USAID and Treasury — the electorate when informed will be duly and rightly incensed. Open the books EVERYWHERE.
Sounds like Trump is going to abide by the ruling until/if it is vacated. Barf.
So he ordered the Administration to destroy evidence of government wrongdoing, including waste fraud and abuse. This order violates anti-retaliation statutes and whistleblower proections.
These are the parasites that are drinking our blood.
The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.
Kinda disappointed Trump took the legal route.
Trump should have just went to Treasury in person gave the orders of what he wanted done.
Delegated to Bissent and Musk, then said I’ll be back tomorrow to see who’s been naughty and nice, and act accordingly.
Good that they fight back, and right away.
Otherwise the System will use a flurry of lawsuits to block the Trump Admin.
This deliberate insubordination must be stopped now.

Give that lefty judge a legal Bitch Slap.
one of the really smart things Trump and Musk did was swoop in quickly and grab the information before these crooks could hide their tracks.
That is why they got this hack judge to try to get Trump to destroy the evidence. To give them time to cover their tracks without evidence they they did it.
Hopefully Trump wont fall for this.
Good idea so many judges are proving they support corruption there are other avenues to challenge a presidents rulings.
Just because a judge has a robe it doesn’t mean it comes with a crown.
Admittedly, ignoring the order of a Federal judge — even if it’s unlawful — is a very thick line to cross. This should be a very easy appeal to win, so doing things the right way is a way to stay on the straight and narrow while showing the contrasting path taking by their enemies.
The fact that it was an ex parte decision alone makes it irrelevant.

Judge Paul Engelmayer by night in the swamp:

Swampily, he egregiously violates the Constitutional Doctrine of Separation of Powers.A dirty, rotten, stinking, impeachable, lefty swamp creature.
But we won't send gangs of threatening demonstrators to his home to bang on drums all night long, while refusing him personal security. We wouldn't do that would we?
He let them shoot at him, didn’t he?
