As The Gateway Pundit reported, a federal judge halted Elon Musk’s government efficiency team from accessing a critical Treasury Department. US District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer, who Barack Obama appointed, cited a risk of “irreparable harm.”
The order temporarily stops access to a sensitive payment system that distributes Americans’ tax returns, Social Security benefits, disability payments, and federal employees’ salaries.
Moreover, Engelmeyer ordered the destruction of any downloaded information from the payment system by anyone given access to it since January 20, the date Trump was inaugurated.
Vance responded to the ongoing travesties on Sunday with a perfect analogy. Drawing on both his military experience and legal background, he noted what would happen if a judge tried to sabotage a general or an attorney general from performing their legal duties.
“If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal,” Vance wrote. “If a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that’s also illegal.”
“Judges aren’t allowed to control the executive’s legitimate power,” he concluded.

The awesomeness continues.
Telling it like it is in simple language that anybody can understand. WTG, VP Vance!!
“Therefore we refuse to follow this blatantly unconstitutional order until it is adjudicated by the Supreme Court”
... should be how he ends this
Judges aren’t allowed to control the executive’s legitimate power.
They will try to until they are stopped.
Time for a reset of any things that have become out of control. Go back to center anf first principles by push, pull, drag or club.
Trump can exercise his powers as provided for in the Constitution.
The only recourse is impeachment, and good luck with that.
A US Federal District Judge for Southern NY, telling a President he does not have audit and executive authority over a Cabinet Dept is completely absurd.
What authority does this judge have to even manufacture such a ruling?
I think Trump should just ignore him and proceed.
Separation..of...powers.
But are they following the judges orders?? If so why? If it’s illegal for the judge to stop the executive branch from carrying out their duties, they should just continue doing what they are doing.
As VP Harris would say it...
If a judge, who is entrusted by the American people, in terms of how our laws are interpreted in terms of what's fair and just in our system of justice, tried to tell a general, who's charged with defending our homeland and interests abroad, as well as the interests of our allies in far away places, how to conduct a military operation which our Commander-in-Chief authorized, with the consent of Congress, that would be illegal in terms of past precedence and our shared American experience at home and abroad. If a judge, any judge for that matter, tried to command or order or obstruct the attorney general, or any Cabinet Officer of any administration regardless of party, in how to use his or her or their discretion as a prosecutor, that’s also illegal in terms of the separation of powers that we, as a nation, have respected from the very beginning of our founding all the way to this very day.

“The Congress shall have power...To make rules for the government....”
Um, that assumes that the “elected bodies” aren’t packed with people who are every bit as corrupt and incompetent as the judges. That’s a bad assumption.
JD is already saying many things that make him sound like 48.
“I’d like to propose that the worst 1% of appointed judges, as determined by elected bodies, be fired every year,” Musk wrote Sunday on X.
Good idea, but it is practically impossible to remove a federal judge from the bench. First, the House has to impeach him and then 2/3 of the Senate has to vote to remove the judge. Since 1791 only eight judges have been removed.
When a judge’s decision is unlawful and unconstitutional, Trump and his appointees can legally and safely ignore the ruling. Which is exactly what Trump should do.
God BLESS HIM as he shares such WISDOM these days!!
I have said it before, unless SCOTUS can show it’s unconstitutional then the President should ignore all lower court decisions. It’s past time to put these liberal hack judges in their place!
JD Vance. The anti-Pence.
Forget the useless SC
Just ignore the judge.
Also, we now know that the president can pardon anyone for anything, and that he can’t be charged with actions taken as president, there is no reason not to ignore these bogus judges rulings.
