With most describing him as "tough," "energetic," "focused" and "effective" — and as doing what he'd promised during his campaign — President Trump has started his term with net positive marks from Americans overall.
Many say he's doing more than they expected — and of those who say this, most like what they see. Very few think he's doing less.
His partisans and his voters, in particular, say he's got the right amount of focus on matters like ending diversity, equity and inclusion programs and deporting those who are in the country illegally.
His deportation policy finds majority approval overall — just as most voters said they wanted during the campaign — and that extends to sending troops to the border, too.
But one key issue looms: Most Americans say the administration isn't focused enough on lowering prices. Inflation was a key reason Mr. Trump won the election.

Amusing...Dems are apparently not adapt at multi-tasking. It’s like they put their feet in concrete...and have to do something before it begins to harden.
“Large detention centers while determining who should be deported”? What a negative and misleading slant. Likewise, questions re” how much “influence” over government he has.
They know what they’re doing.
Holy toledo. How will the MSNBC CROWD spin this, that Trump’s popularity is on the rise?
I guess this means the “University of Michigan’s” MAGAs are angry poll nothing but a crock of Democrats.
Boy, painful admission for the Lying Leftist Media.
They’ll get over it and go back to more lying.
20 days and prices haven’t fallen? Resign NOW.👹
No wonder low IQ Kumrade and Timpon got tens of millions of votes.
Presidential polls sure seem to be getting slow walked lately, don’t they?
When bureaucracy and politicians sense risk, the first order of business is protect themselves by any means possible. Those with the most to lose are the ones forming a unanimous front against that danger. The uniparty and the Beltay deep state become one against anything that puts their dystopia at risk.
Yep. The checks from the DemonRat SLUSH FUNDS have stopped coming into CBS.
The RATholes in the DNC “media” is trying to claim that we MAGAs are “angry” because President Trump is going exactly what we elected him to do. At least we know the left is doing its fair share of recreational drugs.
Slamming Trump over inflation is disingenuous because current inflation was brought about by decisions made during the previous administration, or by circumstances beyond anybody’s control.
I do believe Trump will address this, too, but today’s inflation wasn’t caused in a single day and cannot possibly be solved overnight. Part of addressing it is cutting government waste and expenditures, which DOGE is in the process of assisting with, corrupt judges notwithstanding.
Once spending is decreased, that will open the door to more meaningful actions to address inflation more directly, I would suspect.
If fans there give him a hero's welcome it will be a major setback for emerging democrat plans to undermine him and his agenda.
Surely democrats must have considered having their operatives at the event booing his appearance. But if they can only muster only a smathering of visible dissent on national TV - and that is overcome by overwhelming support - then dems will be worse off than if they had not done anything.
The last thing dems need right now is for President Trump to receive more public and very visible endorsement of his agenda. It may very well happen later today.
I hope so.
This article itself is CBS harassing a plaintiff in a case against them.
Yes? From see bs?
Bliegged to be much better if they could not faux check the results to excuse.
...and this is AFTER their crooked wording!
