David Sacks blasts USAID for using American taxpayers to fund left-wing organizations and policies around the world..
We're in debt almost $40 trillion, and anytime anyone tries to cut anything in Washington, the whole city screams bloody murder. The question is, why? Well, now we know. The money is all going to them."
"New York Times, getting paid. Politico, getting paid. Bill Kristol, perennial warmonger, getting paid. Ukraine, like 11 out of 12 publications, getting paid. Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, was saying his political opposition is funded by USAID."
"In Poland, the left-wing political opposition is funded by USAID. BBC in the U.K. Every left-wing organization in the world seems to be getting paid by this slush fund at USAID, which distributes $50 billion a year. That's a billion dollars a week. That's a lot of money."
"It makes you wonder. The left, in general, tries to portray itself as a movement of the people. That it's grassroots, this is the exact opposite. This is astroturf. This money is coming from the top down out of Washington to fund all these groups all over the world. So it makes you wonder, what is the real level of local support for these left-wing policies all over the world?"
...
Democrats are proving they hate America
BTTT
That’s swell, but it must be realized that this horrible funding was enacted by the grifting Republican Party in the WhoreHouse.
‘Democrats are proving they hate America’
And they’re also proving they hate the Western World as well.
David Sacks???
Never heard of him.
But you could find ten’s of thousands of other people
who would say the same thing.
They will get what’s coming to them...those that are against us and Trump.
Burn the whole dam thing down if necessary. Then rebuild it.
I’m beginning to think there MIGHT be a future for the younger folks in the country.
That makes me very happy
USAID distributes $50 billion a year, a billion dollars a week. Every
left-wing organization extant pockets tax dollars from the USAID slush fund:
The left portrays itself as a tolerant and compassionate grassroots movement “Of the people.” But their financing is coming from the pockets of hapless taxpayers. Question. “What is the real level of support for left-wing policies?”
...
I have to say there probably is a need to project soft power and American influence around the world. But it’s gone off the rails. I understand that USAID can be used to promote groups that threaten foreign governments in our favor. Some examples are to promote minority groups to get vocal in order to push governments towards our interests. But it’s been way abused and misused and corrupted. I totally agree to put it under the State Dept.
And fwiw it’s a two way street. Foreign governments do the same to us. And our media gets outraged about it when it breaks the ‘wrong’ way. Like the Russia hoax. We see how the mechanism can work - George Floyd riots, Covid, Charlottesville etc. It doesn’t take much money to agitate various groups though domestically it’s probably more domestic money using the same techniques eg soros. But you see how the tactic works in pop culture. It is probably better used more overtly than by subversion.
“USAID distributes $50 billion a year, a billion dollars a week”
And we pay the wages of 14,000 government sloths to distribute that 50 billion. Thats an added 2 billion a year in salary and benefits. Disgusting. I believe Elon said it can be ran with 300 which maybe was an off the cuff remark, time will tell.
David Sacks is co-founder of Pay-Pal and a tech entrepreneur. He supported Trump in the election. Any support from the tech world in amplifying the corruption is a good thing.
Speaking of corruption,
Article from two years ago:”
“Dem congressman’s charity has more than $30 million tied up in Cayman Islands funds” (Dan Goldman - (D-NY))
Elon said it can be ran with 300 while we pay the wages of 14,000 govt sloths to
distribute $50 billion........an added $2 billion a year in salary, benefits, pensions and perks.
I’m kind of amazed that USAID hasn’t gotten more scrutiny over the years. It’s a leftwing propaganda and subterfuge factory with a huge budget running wild with practically no oversight. You’d think it would have gotten more attention from conservatives.
I’m sure once upon a time USAID did good stuff and was necessary, and it probably still has some good and necessary functions, but now that it’s been taken over by the left it has become essentially evil and anti-American.
The problem is we, as conservatives, have been stuck in the old mindset which sees USAID as good ol’ USAID. Thankfully Trump and Musk are shaking us awake from that misconception.
We can bet that the WEF is involved her also. Charges need to be brought on all those who signed off on all this ad they need to be prosecuted and jailed.
No question.
According to Musk, at least 60% never leaves the country and is used for the salaries of the NGOs. Think of Clintons and Haiti relief fund. Then the money that does make it to other countries, well we’ve all heard the stories. Gender studies, Sesame Street in Iraq?
When the money does go to some real thing, that thing is regime change and color revolutions.
USAID 14,000 employees cut down to a few hundred with USAID rolled into the State Dept. The State Dept has 77,800 employees so I suspect the BS will still happen unless the State Dept is cut way down in size.
He’s heading up the new US Crypto project and also participating in the AI talks.
“We’re in debt almost $40 trillion”
They keep saying that, and it gets on my nerves, not because it’s not true, but because they never say what it means to some guy living with his wife and two children in a $250,000 home.
Simple division comes out to the fact that our debt is now $100,000 PER PERSON, $200,000 PER WORKER, and $400,000 for the guy, wife, and 2 kids. To put it another way, the federal government has taken out a loan of $400,000 against his house, that HE and his family are expected to pay back.
Other ways to look at $40T - enough to buy about 4000 Aircraft Carriers (at current prices, but not too useful as you’d need 20 million boys to staff them). Or enough to buy 120,000 747s, or 1 BILLION new cars, or a few more miles of California’s high speed rail.
