A doctor has raised alarm over what he describes as a "real crisis" within the Democratic Party following Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 election. According to the physician, the party is grappling with a deep identity and leadership crisis exacerbated by Trump's triumph, leading to internal struggles and a loss of direction. This analysis highlights the challenges Democrats face as they navigate a changing political landscape, with their strategies and messaging increasingly under scrutiny.
According to Glenn Burnett, an internal doctor from Wyoming, Democrats are suffering from significant mental health concerns over Trump’s win. He said his patients are dealing with a wide range of issues, including insomnia, depression, grief, and “genuine fear and panic.”
Burnett told political analyst Mark Halperin that many of his left-wing patients are facing serious mental health struggles following Trump’s monumental win and the “fears of what he’s going to do or what’s happening in the country.”
“We are dealing with depression, anxiety, all kinds of medical problems that are related to that, like insomnia, chest pain, chest pressure,” he told Halprin. “And then people are that there’s some genuine fear, panic. When Biden was the president, I had all kinds of stuff from the other side, but it has been extremely intense … after the election.”
He recommends that his patients disconnect from politics and the news cycle by turning off their computers and televisions.
“The next thing I tell them to do is, if you have had an issue with your family and a lot of them have that, that is so much more important than Kamala Harris or Donald Trump,” he said, “and you need to begin to make amends,” Burnett said.
Just before the November election, Burnett told Tucker Carlson that he was curious about how liberals would react if their beloved Kamala Harris were to lose to Trump, claiming it would cause one of the biggest mental health crises in history.
“I think tens of millions of people will question their connection to the nation, their connection to other human beings, their connection to their vision of what their future for them and their children could be like. And I think that it will require an enormous amount of access to mental health professionals. I think it’ll lead to trauma in the workplace, … I think there’ll be alcoholism. There’ll be broken marriages,” he told Carlson.
I’m ok with that 🥱

Gee...that’s a darn shame.
Will there be suicides? Gee I hope there won't be suicides.
Glenn Burnett, an internal doctor from Wyoming..
lol...Hey doc, a significate percentage of the Democrat party is mentally ill. Just look at them. Watch any video. They act like rotten violent 10 year old children from hell.
How are all of you hdealing with any personal insomnia, depression, grief, and genuine fear and panic? ?
He says that like it’s a bad thing.
I don’t see a problem here.

Pathetic snowflakes
I am not moved by commie crocodile tears.
He missed FR's Breaking News, circa 1996 about that. They look nuts, talk nuts and act nuts. We believe they're nuts.
And Michael Savage's well reasoned book Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder (2005).
This guy should try to keep up.
Conservatives have dealt with being mocked, abused, ostracized, etc for years, especially after the Biden win. We sucked it up even though we were upset. Democrats really are mentally And emotionally, unstable. Keep an eye on them.
The Democrats are no longer talking about “climate change”. Finally a REAL existential crisis has gotten their attention - the probable demise of the Democrat party as it now exists.
Democrats are known for describing themselves as someone in the middle of a crisis. That “crisis” could be anything from Man Made Global Warming to finding out their favorite coffee is harvested in a country that does not “celebrate” transgender marriage.
Is it not an answer to a prayer; “Confuse my enemies....”.
These people were unstable before President Trump came along. They were simply unchallenged in their delusions.
