If ever you needed proof that X Community Notes is vastly superior to corporate “fact checks” as a way for real journalists to do real work countering “misinformation” rather than as a bludgeon to suppress dissident narratives, this is it.
Lying about being a Native American for DEI leg-ups, it turns out, isn’t the only dishonesty Elizabeth Warren peddles.
This lie, however, is much more consequential in terms of policy impact: “I don't take contributions from Big Pharma executives. I don't take any corporate PAC money,” Elizabeth Warren says in the Senate hallway when confronted over her smears of RFK Jr.
...
But the contradictory proof is all right there in the X Community Notes window, just under the lying pharma tool, with links and links and links, rendering my job as a journalist exposing her blatant lies far easier: “Elizabeth Warren has in fact received donations from both Pharmaceutical companies and PAC organizations in the combined tune of millions of dollars.”
Warren, in fact, is the second-biggest beneficiary of cash from pharma employees and/or PACs in the entire Congress, next to Bernie Sanders.

My state will vote for her forever.
I feel great sadness when an issue comes up and someone here urges all Freepers to “write your senator”. Yeah. I’ll send Elizabeth Warren a note and see if I can persuade her. People in other states are lucky — they may actually have something like Representation in congress. I just have lunatics.
"Homina,homina,homina...!!!" [hat tip to Ralph Kramden]
The article doesn’t even link the X post it cites. Fail.
Sadly, Massachusetts is full of people that think Lunatic Lizzy is too conservative.
A bit off topic, but my Father-in-law lives in CT. He often tells me that he likes to get his news from “both sides”. So he reads the NYT and recognizes that it is “far left” but he also reads the Wall St Journal because (as he puts it) it’s so far right you wouldn’t believe it!
I dropped the Journal years ago because it was too far left.
She doesn’t take it to give it to her
I agree that at some point, you have to realize that you are a hostage. Your presence just empowers those who trample you.
I hope you find a way out.
Thanking you!
Exactly. Your FIL is reading nothing but globalist UniParty propaganda and thinks he’s getting balanced information. That’s most of the Northeastern megalopolis for you.
**My state will vote for her forever.**
That’s something we can live with. All we need is for her to take a higher profile so that we can win in other races. Think about it.
Yes, but maybe she had a few too many beers with her husband and can’t remember.

Whenever a link or an address is given to some information at “X” and I click on it, invariable you get an invitation to join X but never the article or information you really wanted to convey. I just thought I pass this along.
the link worked perfectly ... the video of gray beaver played when the page opened ...
You have to have an X account to view their content.
It’s worth it.
