History will judge Boris Johnson as one of the most damaging prime ministers in British history, Reform UK chairman Zia Yusuf has said.
Yusuf told the BBC's Political Thinking podcast Johnson would not be welcome to join Reform UK.
The Reform UK chairman criticised Johnson's record on the Covid pandemic, immigration and public spending when he was prime minister between 2019 and 2022.
Yusuf said there was "nothing Conservative" about Johnson and branded the Tories an "extremely left-wing party" in government.
The BBC has asked Johnson's spokesperson for comment.

Governed disgracefully.
CINO / RINOs can be very damaging. Let it be known.
Starmer is much worse, if that is possible.
I don’t disagree with that either!
Although, Starmer will marinate for a few years so watch this space.
The antidote will be a Reform government
Boris gave them Starmer. And both are WEF.
GB is apparently FULL of retarded voters.
Thank God that our ancestors made them take a hike.
Boris Johnson was a literal mad man
Their media is so controlled there. Some are beginning to wake up. But it may be too late.
Agree, Tony Blair, at least vile Keir Starmer is so blatant in your face that honest people will turn him off.
Blair is a Yuval and Klaus WEF worshiper an anti-Christ Beast Kingdom globalist.
He was a terrible PM.
Boris Johnson was the British version of George W. Bush, a globalist puppet whose open borders, green energy and warmongering policies destroyed his party.
Starmer would never would have been elected if Johnson hadn’t destroyed his party’s brand just like we wouldn’t be stuck with Obamacare if not George Bush doing the same thing to the Republican brand.
Americans alternated between voting for deep state Rinos and Dems for years.
Britain was faced with the same choice between Labour and the Tories until Reform arrived on the scene and started exploding in the polls.
It goes back to Tony Blair. Basically, he was responsible for open borders. Blair wanted more immigrants because he knew they'll vote for Labour. It was under Blair that it started to reach critical mass. After Blair, the Tories were weak and did nothing. Now we have Starmer.
