A long-time Democratic Party operative appeared Wednesday on Fox Business to criticize Democratic leaders and said the party fears that President Donald Trump will enjoy success implementing policies that are popular.
Democratic lawmakers held a rally Tuesday outside the Treasury Department to protest Elon Musk’s access to that agency’s data. That operative, Julian Epstein, said on “The Evening Edit” that the rally looked like a bad “Saturday Night Live” skit. Epstein went on to say that the real fear for Democrats is the potential loss of their core political offerings — big government and identity politics.
“What the Democrats and caterwauling really fear is that Trump is going to be successful in cutting out waste and unpopular policies like DEI from the federal government and is gonna have public support for it,” Epstein told Elizabeth MacDonald. “Why are they so scared about that? Because if big government and the sort of, you know, neo-Marxist ideas like the DEI and race preferences, if those things fall with public support then Democrats have nothing to sell to the public. That’s what they’re really scared about.”
Epstein added that the Democratic objections to Musk’s audits lack legal grounding.
“It was just so pathetic, and then you sort of get to the statements that Musk doesn’t have the authority to do it. I mean these guys, I would say need not just to go back to first-year law school class but to high school civics. The president and his representatives have all of the legal authority they need to go into the federal agencies and cut out waste and cut out policies that aren’t popular. This is perfectly legitimate.

“...Nothing To Sell To The Public...”
That’s been a very long time coming. Only an idiot would be blindsided with it
Not just waste fraud and abuse. DEI , Delusion pandering mutilation’ and the Carbon scam are among the many targets. The tyranny of the two tiered injustice system as well. Its been an amazing reversal of evil for such a short period of time.
One thing i would like to see and hear, republicans, and DJT start referring to our nation as a republic, not a democracy. We are constitutionally guaranteed a republican form of governance. The founders specifically skipped democracy when debating types of governance. The words democracy, democrat, and democratic should be drummed out of our vocabulary.
Ds have no where to go. Are they going to protest common sense in regards to wasted taxpayer money, gender idiocy, supporting enemies, a more efficient govt ?
“WE WILL WIN ! WE WILL WIN ! “
Win what ?....the right to all of the above. They have a losing message, no leader, and are showing no signs of self correcting.
I LOVE IT !
ha... r u kidding right now!?? That has been their concern for ever...
Maybe the demoncraps should stop trying so sell communism, and shove faggotry down our throats, maybe they could shut up and actually listen to what the citizenry is saying.
Democrats do have something to sell: insanity. And the public ain’t buying it anymore.

THAT came out of Julian Epstein’s mouth? Wow.
BTTT
From digging around on this issue, it looks like the President's actions regarding USAID, particularly any attempt to merge it with the State Department or alter its independent status, require Congressional approval because USAID was established and is governed by legislation passed by Congress.
The down-side of this situation is that there is Jesus-like character assembled for the 2028 election cycle. You look at the Senate, and it’s mostly a joke. The House? AOC is virtually by herself, but unprepared for the job. Newsom? Hopeless.
It’s awful weak for the mid-terms, and if Trump would put some effort into it...the GOP could take 30 seats.
Who is that?
Dems still have the slaughter of unborn babies. That’s always an uplifting and popular running issue.
They have nothing to “sell” to their voters because they have no principles. No standards of conduct. How much do they donate to charity? Are they grateful for what they have? Are they trying to help their voters get ahead in life? Are they in Washington to get all they can and then get out? There is nothing about their platform to attract voters.
That’s true since even though USAID began as an EO, it became “official” via Congress.
That doesn’t mean that people can un-hear and un-see the information that has been released so far. That will turn people away from the RATs, I think.
And Trump hasn’t done away with USAID, but moved it on the org chart, so it still exists as an agency. Hopefully, that’s “kosher”. Rubio overseeing it should be a positive thing.
When it’s clear that malfeasance has occurred here, does DOJ have the authority to order an official forensic audit of another Federal agency?
THEY ARE THE DUMPSTER FIRE
