NCAA Responds to Trump’s Executive Order to Protect Female Athletes

On Wednesday, which happens to be National Girls & Women in Sports Day, President Trump signed the “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” executive order, which is designed to “protect opportunities for women and girls to compete in safe and fair sports.”

The executive order establishes that it is the policy of the United States to “rescind all funds from educational programs that deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities, which results in the endangerment, humiliation, and silencing of women and girls and deprives them of privacy,” and to “oppose male competitive participation in women’s sports more broadly, as a matter of safety, fairness, dignity, and truth.”

In short, biological men can’t compete in women’s sports.

The NCAA responded Wednesday night to President Donald Trump’s executive order barring biological men from competing in women’s sports. NCAA President Charlie Baker acknowledged the order in a statement, calling it a “clear, national standard.”

The NCAA has faced intense backlash for allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports, with the most infamous case being Will “Lia” Thomas. During the 2021-2022 season, Thomas dominated NCAA women’s swimming, sparking national outrage. After years of mediocrity on the men’s team, Thomas declared a transgender identity, switched to the women’s division, and began shattering records—at the expense of female athletes. But stealing titles and opportunities wasn’t enough. Thomas also disrespected his teammates by exposing his male genitalia in the women’s locker room, further highlighting the absurdity of the NCAA’s policies.

Statement from the NCAA:
"The NCAA Board of Governors is reviewing the executive order and will take necessary steps to align NCAA policy in the coming days, subject to further guidance from the administration,” the statement continued. “The Association will continue to help foster welcoming environments on campuses for all student-athletes. We stand ready to assist schools as they look for ways to support any student-athletes affected by changes in the policy."

He should also ban women from mens sports. Its just as wrong and if one man on a womans team is enough danger to the rest of the women, then one woman on mens teams is exponentially in danger.

Cant have it both ways, plus trans is illness and wrong, no matter if its men or women who are ill.

What a pathetic loser statement! And this slimy weasel!
"NCAA President Charlie Baker said the NCAA Board of Governors would review it and take steps to align the organization’s policy in the coming days."
No courage to do the right thing. No balls. He hides behind a Board of Governors and will do some steps to "align."

“He should also ban women from mens sports”

There is men’s figure skating, and if women started competing, they’d probably win. So I agree with you.

They won't want to do that. It would expose the fact that there are too few of them to fill up a meet and prove the whole sham that this was a national problem.

Another win. Trump has had 4 long years to think about what he would do when he returned to the White House. While we might not get tired of winning, we might begin to take it for granted. That would be a mistake.

Then the participation trophy budget will be minimal.
After all, at their level “Everyone is a winner” and “There are no losers”*.

*Except that every one them IS a loser by definition, unable to compete with their own sex, so pretending to be women.

Well I knew I’d see dumb comments. Didn’t expect them so soon.

Do you know men do womens gymnastics far better than women? And pick it up faster than women? Without personal coaches?

Need to also take away the wins and records of these tranny’s and give the records, medals, and trophy’s to the rightful women winners.

NCAA President Charlie Baker acknowledged the order in a statement, calling it a “clear, national standard.”

I'm not sure if Trump has the authority to do this. And certainly, the NCAA could have hit back with a lawsuit.

But they didn't. So I'm guessing the NCAA wanted to bar trannies, but dare not do so until Trump gave them the cover.

Now they can say, "We support transwomen, but Trump won't let us, so please don't blame us."

True. But many conservative men have a White Knight complex. Defend women in every dispute.

Women: "Women should be allowed in men's sports because women are kick-ass and stronger than men!"

White Knight: "I agree, m'lady!"

Women: "But men are stronger than women, so it's not fair for men to compete in women's sports!"

White Knight: "I agree, m'lady!"

Well we can try to reason with these simp cucked white knight men.

If its protecting women to keep one man off teams where everyone else is a woman,

Then

Its even more of a protective measure to keep one woman off teams where EVERYONE ELSE is a man.

If one man can beat, devastate and damage all other women on a team, then consider the damage one woman will receive being on teams where EVERYONE ELSE is a man.

Can’t have it both ways.

Huh?

In what sport is a woman faking becoming a “man” going to help her make a team”

If a woman can kick a 70 yard field goal then by all means, let her try out for an NFL team.

It will not happen that a woman, even with parts added, will kick that far and that well on a regular enough basis to make the team.

And when it comes to winning...ALL PC goes out the window, even for NFL teams.

In the case of swimming, the international body FINA has already ruled women categories are only for women. Trans people can compete only if the transition happened before age 12; and they also provide an ‘open’ categories for those people like Leah Thomas

Bingo. That is exactly what I am thinking. NCAA knew what a disaster catering to the mentally ill tranny degenerates was for sports. Now they don’t have to pretend to support it using Trump’s EO.

The reverse is just not happening.

There is NO INCENTIVE.

They are unlikely to earn a medal.

They are unlikely to win a championship
