The establishment media gave extremely negative reviews to President Donald Trump’s announcement that the U.S. would take control of Gaza, underscoring Americans’ mistrust of the media.
The announcement immediately caused many reporters to spread conspiracy theories and suggest Trump would be starting a war in Gaza, while members of the radical left rushed to the White House to protest the historic announcement. “The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too,” Trump said Tuesday night. “We’ll love it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous bombs and other weapons on the site … and get rid of the destroyed buildings [and] create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing.”

I got to say this is funny watching the daily hysteria from the junk media and the US Democrat Fascists party ever day.
It is really funny.
Israel implemented a complete and forced evacuation of all Jews living in the Gaza Strip in August-September 2005. I do not recall any concern from the Left.
What the commies want is the “Final solution” which means Israel is wiped off of planet earth
All the usual news hacks trying to get in front of the story and manage the narrative. I say: Let them stumble over their own lies and report the fake news from inferences that really aren’t there.
It occurs to me that inside USAID systems are the media narrative coordination traffic and URLs. Shut that down and legacy media will have nothing to report. Because all their scripts were written for them.
People need to learn to read between the lines.
This is just an invitation for Saudi Arabia and other friendly Arab countries to go in and take over Gaza.
Trump’s new press secretary reportedly confirmed today that Trump was not talking about US troops in the ground in Gaza.
This is a horrible idea.
This is a very bad idea on Trump’s part
Well, at least the demolition for site surveying is done.
It really is.
We have folks here panicking for a good reason that I find perfectly understandable because of past nation building attempts but, they need patience at the big picture of reactions that come in from countries in the region.
I think it’s a huge signal to Iran to cool off or else, for one thing.
Wait till Trump announces he’s shipping all the Gazans to Somalia.
Yes. Democrats are whipping up an insurrection. I expect Trump to jail the ring leaders. That would be fun.
Not necessarily but it does suggest that there are other solutions regarding Hamass and total destruction..Had to be a tease, but gets everyone talking and thinking.
P.S. Las Vegas is about the same size as Gaza.
We don’t need ww3 cause of that small spot on the earth.
12 million Germans were deported from Eastern Europe after World War 2. Mass expulsion is a valid option for removing nations that start wars of terror.
IMHO the Gazas might be better off anyways. It would break the power that Hamas has ever their lives. Hamas, not Israel, is the real root cause of their problems.
“Funny?” I have read many of your posts and find them to be both delightful and informative. Your choice of word in this case is Strike One.
15 months ago they called Gaza an open air prison. Now the left wants to keep the Palestinians in the open air prison?
Except the prison is crumbled. It is worse now than ever - people there need water, food, medicine, housing, roads, electricity, sewage and everything else. They really can’t just sit in tents for the next 15 years. However, I think Trump is just opening some kind of dialogue with an extreme position out of the gate. He wants everyone to get involved so he comes charging out forcing them to take it seriously (they have been neglectful for decades). Now the Saudis and Kuwaitis and Qataris and the UAE and Egypt etc have to get together to formulate concrete plans. It is made easier now that there are a half dozen Arab countries with peace deals with Israel. They must at least understand the futility of sitting aside and waiting for the Palestinians to get their act together. And none of them want Hamas to rule it. And none of them really want the US to rule it. So now what?
We’ll see how it shakes out. Egypt has sold off an Island and some tracts of land to the gulf states - they need money. They may be open to a deal. Jordan, to a lesser extent but they won’t want to be on the sidelines if a broad deal can be made they will want in on it.
I think it is just an idea to jumpstart conversations. There are a lot of problems with his idea but also a lot of other problems that need to be addressed. It is going to take regional cooperation.
The Abraham Accords mean a lot more than just “peace” with Israel. None of those countries were really at war. They never normalized in the past because of solidarity with the Palestinians. When they finally signed the Accords it was a signal that they are done waiting around for the Palestinians to get it together. So now is the opportunity to push it even further.
Truly I don’t think we will end up occupying Gaza, nor will Israel resettle it with Jews per se. What Trump seems to be doing is stating a few obvious things: Most of the Gazans really cannot live there right now until all the needs of a functioning society are met, and to achieve that everyone in the region has to step up in some meaningful way. So Trump is sort of forcing the issue to the front. He is forcing these regional countries to step to the table now.
