From Professor Robert K Goldman: Trump's Gaza Plan Won't Work—The U.S. Does Not Recognize Palestine as a State, but 143 Countries Do
Trump's plan would flagrantly violate numerous rules of International Law. While the U.S. does not recognize Palestine as a state, of which Gaza is a component, Palestine is a widely recognized as such by 143 countries.
If the U.S. were to use military force to seize Gaza, we would become an Occupying Power under the laws of war and the forcible transfer of Gazans to third countries would constitute a serious war crime and given the scale of the transfer a crime against humanity

Trump has moved his first pawn on the Gaza chessboard.
Trump is negotiating
Please dont do this: develop America instead! Really bad idea!👎
Send these expert clowns to embed with these noble Palestinians for a month and see if that changes their mind.
Well, if the leftists are opposed to it and melting down over it, then it must be a good thing.
We should listen to him. The “experts” are always right about the Middle East. /sarc
The panic he is causing with people who realize where this is heading is telling.
This is not Iraq and Gaza is Israeli land that Sharon allowed the Gazan Arabs to run on their own. If executed properly, this could become one of the most outstanding geo political developments in recent history.
EX is a has been.
sPURT is a drip under pressure.
A professor says. Really. If we have learned anything over the last 20 -30 years, it is that professors in their ivory towers, away from reality, are the least “experts” of anyone and their pontifications 90 percent of the time try to justify leftist ideology.
In Trump fashion, he will get others to pay for it and they will love the ride. Tie it to the Abraham accords.
Pearl clutchers got the vapors.
Trump has moved his first checker piece on the Gaza chess board. :-P
I got the feeling this is more “flood the media zone” from President Trump.
While the Alt Left etc. are going into hysteria about this, it sucks up media oxygen so they cannot form a narrative against his many other initiatives
I am learning to wait a few days rather then knee jerk react to anything President Trump says. There always seem to be more going on then meets the eye to what he says
Trump being Trump, by just saying something off the cuff, makes establishment radicals heads explode.

Except that he said this one standing next to Netanyahu.
And I absolutely hate to be anywhere close to siding with Newsweek, but the first I heard of this it reminded me of GWBush in his state of the union during the Iraq buildup promising that we weren’t in the business of “nation building”
When it comes to building things, as well as when it comes to making plans and seeing them through, Trump has it all over old Dubayah. But I still wonder if it isn’t a trap
yep, he simply moved the goalpost to the other side of the dems. Now the starting point of the solution is the total transfer of their people and absorption into the arab world.
the actual result will be something much different.
The Israeli left is in complete and utter shock. They have spent the past 50 years trying to shove their oslo accords / surrender / peace at any cost / 2-state solution / appeasement / concept down out throats and it has brought nothing but thousands of dead Israelis. Now their entire narrative is completely uprooted. They can’t even acknowledge how bat they’ve been outflanked.
Even Bibi was in shock and wasn’t able to answer it, but the talk of the town now will be transfer and reshaping Israel into secure borders.
i dont think we’ve seen anything yet.
I believe it was in 1924 when Lord Balfour created the boundaries of the Arabian Peninsula countries.
If it was done then, well maybe we can do it again.
Distraction from his final cabinet picks getting Confirmed. Brilliant.
