Trump Becomes First President to Hold South Africa Accountable

The corrupt dictatorship gets a wake-up call..

In myth, post-apartheid South Africa became a land of unity, peace, and brotherly love. In reality, it became a corrupt racist dictatorship: a slow-motion Zimbabwe whose more gradual pace of self-destruction was only made possible by the vastly greater wealth that the corrupt Communist movement that took it over had to play with. In its greed for wealth, the ANC just starved dozens of miners to death and is plotting to seize the land of white farmers.

The African National Congress presided over the destruction of South Africa’s economy and its transformation from a first-world country to a place where the power can’t be expected to stay on in its major cities.

While all of this was going on, U.S. presidents alternated between ignoring that anything was wrong and following the dogma by praising the ANC’s regime. Not even South Africa’s open embrace of Russia, China and Hamas could seem to dissuade the Biden administration and liberals from their worship of the ANC.

But now that changed with President Trump blasting the new racist land confiscation program and threatening to cut off aid to South Africa.

Even apart from a racist plot to seize land, South Africa under the ANC has become profoundly hostile to the United States. It’s become a playground for China, Russia and Iran. And we should not be funding it.

Why they get anything from the US is beyond me.

Back in 2019...I did a 18-day trip to South Africa. I spent several days at a vineyard operation...next to a massive orchard. Over a couple of decades, they’d spent several million (via bank loans) to improve the property...bring in irrigation, and enlarge production. I have no doubt that if that particular property is seized....the previous owners will quickly exit the country, and leave the banks in a messy situation. I don’t think the leadership understands the business interests, or the fragile relationship that exists.

The ‘label’ for the wine? It probably is registered, and the potential new owners will be shocked to find themselves sued in Europe over theft of the label.

Every other nation that gets money or support from us should be a close ally and do something to justify our generosity.

Most nations should not make the cut.

Rhodesia was the bread basket of Africa.

Now, under thieving Socialism, Zimbabwe can not even feed itself.

On a related note, and since African Parks is headquartered in SA...

Update...

https://www.africanparks.org/strategic-funding-partners

“...With a commitment of US$27million over the last 8 years (2016-2024), USAID has been providing support to African Parks...”

Wonder how much of that the Harkles have pocketed...

There is a large contingent in Washington that worships at the altar of Marxism. In their efforts to disguise the utter failures Marxism produces they have given those dictatorships $billions of our money. Purging Washington of those people will go a long way toward MAGA.

On YouTube, I follow an Afrikaner (Because I’m Lizzy) who emigrated to Kunming China. Her original plan was to stay one year, but it has become six. Her Mom also recently moved to China.
Both cite Safety as a factor. Their descriptions of South Africa sound quite hellish and scary.

Anyone who wonders how the South African government confiscating white farms will work out just needs to read Thomas Sowell’s account of what happened in Rhodesia and Uganda when the government did the same thing.
