Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene says she plans to introduce legislation to abolish the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and to finally give the United States a national language.
The United States has long been considered a multilingual country, causing mass confusion in some areas that are flooded with Hispanic immigrants. Making English, the most widely spoken language in the world, the official language of the United States is a common sense initiative.
Greene’s move to abolish USAID comes amid already-known but now-proven discoveries that the agency is a slush fund for globalist interventionism and woke radical left programs. It’s also the worst offender of violating Presidential Executive Orders, according to Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Former Congressman Ron Paul called the organization out, saying, “USAID is a key component of the U.S. government’s regime change operations worldwide.” He continued, “USAID spends billions of dollars every year propping up NGOs overseas that function as shadow governments, eating away at elected governments that U.S. interventionists want to overthrow.” This includes meddling in the war in Ukraine and the internal affairs of many other countries around the world, according to Paul.
USAID also funded hundreds of nefarious projects worldwide, including coronavirus gain-of-function research in China.
As recently revealed by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, in a scathing rebuke of the agency, they spent $2.5 million of taxpayer dollars to promote DEI in Serbia, $70,000 for a DEI musical in Ireland, $47,000 for a transgender opera in Columbia, and $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru.
This week, President Trump shut down USAID, locking employees out of the headquarters on Monday and sending an email in the middle of the night telling them to stay home.
According to an agency official and a source familiar with the situation, nearly all Washington-based USAID staff will be placed on leave—marking the most significant shake-up in the agency’s history.
This corrupt agency, which has been used to launder money into leftist causes, terrorist groups, and international chaos, needs to go.

2. Declaring English as the official language of the United States.
Both of these are very important pieces of legislation that redirect our government back to putting America and Americans first and must become law.

As for English the official language, absolutely. Any additional language dilutes our culture and invites and promotes division and racism.
(Hint. Start by limiting all election info and ballots to English only.)
A bill in Congress is useless for this. USAID was created by JFK via an Executive Order, just like Trump just restructured it, EO.

This is what has to be done - if Congress doesn’t change the laws all it will take is another Democrat President (God forbid) to roll it all back. NOW is the time!

The bill is probably unnecessary, but not quite useless. A law passed by Congress can override an executive order. The reverse is not true.
The Make English the Official Language can definitely prevent a future Democrat President from writing an executive order that says otherwise.
I had not heard of them until now, so realizing that they are the deep state is also news to me.

If the Founding Fathers thought it was a good idea to make English, they would have done it. Since they didn't, I say no way to this new age garbage.
This is just another excuse to ditch the Constitution, and the nation and practices we inherited.
