🚨 Rep Harriet Hageman: The IRS is ILLEGALLY surveilling Americans

“We have learned is that the IRS, in fact has been using AI to access bank accounts of American citizens without any kind of a search warrant or even without any specific claim that they have committed a crime”… “An undercover journalist. — what they found is that the IRS has claimed that they have access to every single person's bank account.”

“This person also indicated that they've been working with the Department of Justice, and that they have absolutely no problem whatsoever going after the little guy to make sure that they're paying their taxes.”

“This is such a blatant violation of the Fourth Amendment”

If the irs knows how much income we have...
If the irs knows how much tax we have to pay...
Why do we fill out these stupid forms?
Why are we calculating our taxes?
Why are we then told we screwed up and to amend what we sent in?

They are creating a class of criminals that they can control.

Those responsible should be sent to prison for life or executed. But no…they will retire with full pension

In the mid-1980s I worked for a very good-sized regional bank with multiple branches statewide (they would eventually go inter-state)

ANYWAYS, every month we produced a tape (yes, an actual tape at that time 1600bpi eventually 6250 bpi) for the IRS.

We called it “the IRS job” or “the IRS tape” - it was a record I believe over every transaction of $10,000 or more from every account. We were required by the IRS to do this for Federal compliance with banking law.

That $10,000 threshold was eventually reduced to $3,000 transactions while I was still working for the bank.

Beyond that, I know NUTHINK! about what else they may or may not do.

I’ve assumed for years that they could at least audit account levels. Every year the accountant asks “How much was in the business account as of December last”? I’ve always resented the hell out of the question.

Yup, this started last year. I know because of discrepancies with 1099s etc. They know exactly how much you made by checking every account linked to your SSN. I’m waiting two months to file just in case this is shot down.

The IRS would be better served to check out every politician’s bank transactions. I find it very strange that brand new congressmen/women become millionaires after a few terms in office. I hope all that money the Pelousies make on insider trading is being accounted for. THIS COUNTRY NEEDS A RESET and TRUMP IS THE MAN WE NEED.

Eliminate income tax. It was a democrat idea anyway, a bad idea.

The $10,000 threshold is the law, but Treasury can reduce this to $3000 using a GTO (Geographical Targeting Order) for certain regions of the country.

As for govt. snooping:

For a year or so in '22 & '23 we would notice in the WIFI dropdown window all neighboring WIFI accounts sometimes including one titled "FBI remote" with a white van parked across the street, just out of direct sight.

Anyone else ?

I've voted Trump, receive Trump literature and post unbecoming comments about Biden on FR and elsewhere. I always wondered if I was under surveillance.

Think how many billions of dollars would be saved if companies weren’t acting as agents for the IRS and the software for tax preparers etc. Tariffs and consumption based taxes to motivate politicians to keep the economy humming, If they do keep the income tax, make it so everyone has to write a check at the end of the years vs, payroll and watch change occur.

YES, there is one of those in my neighborhood as well: “FBI SURVEILLANCE POST 12” or some such nonsense.

You can name your home’s WIFI Network when you first set it up. It’s a joke. Designed to keep WIFI parasites off your network. You should have a password key.

I have seen some labelled “Drug Enforcement Agency Secure Network” and other things.

Most people don’t name theirs or if they do, call it something like “Dave’s Network”.................

“The $10,000 threshold is the law, but Treasury can reduce this to $3000 using a GTO (Geographical Targeting Order) for certain regions of the country.”

That is what they want us to think. Fact is they are perpetually connected to everyone’s account down to the penny in real time. They have had this capability and been practicing it for years now.

I think the answer to those questions is that payment of income tax is voluntary. If it wasn’t the government would just figure out how much you owe and take it. They should just look at your stock portfolio and take whatever capital gains they think you owe. Its a game.
