It’s finally happened. On Saturday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he will be imposing a 10 per cent tariff on Canadian energy products and 25 per cent tariffs on everything else, starting Tuesday. We have no idea what kind of negotiations took place between the Liberals and Trump. All we know is that Canada is now facing the greatest economic threat it has faced in decades.

As a young person I recall my father strongly disliking this clown’s daddy, Pierre Trudeau. Dad thought he was a lefty.
Then there’s much talk of Justin’s biological father being Fidel.

The sad part is that Canada literally has no functioning government right now. Parliament has been suspended, Trudeau is the lamest of lame ducks, the liberals are in the midst of electing a new leader.
Canada has not even pretended to negotiate a deal. Trudeau went to Florida and got a public flogging that he deserved. Then he sent his girlfriend (yes, his f@@cking girlfriend), Melanie Joli, and his babysitter (yes, his f@@king babysitter) Dom Leblanc to negotiate. He couldn't make a weaker move.
We have no one to blame but our fellow citizens who voted for Trudeau or that Sikh toady Dogmeat Singh. It's too bad the rest of us have to suffer for their stupidity.
The total coup de grace would be for the Canadian conservatives to negotiate a deal with Trump, and Trump to delay or partly delay the tariffs for 90 days for a new government in Canada. The trick is the timing of the new elections; you wouldn’t want to give the liberals until the SCHEDULED elections when a no-confidence measure is imminent, but you wouldn’t want to make it look like Trump’s motivation was to force a regime change.
