In Michigan, nothing is going to hold us back from getting stuff done. We are working to move our state forward no matter what else is happening.
2025 is off to a productive start. Thanks to my partners in the Michigan Legislature, I have signed nearly 90 bills this January that make a real difference and improve the lives of Michiganders.
From making bold strides with new initiatives that lower costs for families and create good-paying jobs to tackling Michigan’s housing crisis head-on and building more affordable homes, we’re getting stuff done. Our schools will be safer thanks to new measures to protect students and staff, and we took action to protect reproductive rights by safeguarding access to essential healthcare.
Since I took office six years ago, I have signed more than 1,400 bipartisan bills and 6 balanced budgets; nearly 1,000 of those bills were signed under a Republican legislature. I have a job to do — make Michigan the best place to live, work, and raise a family. I’ll work with anyone who's serious about solving problems.
We are getting stuff done and won’t stop our work to build a brighter future for Michigan.
