By broadcasting their financial sponsors you know who their propaganda masters are.

We have a Republican Congress and a Republican in the White House. Why are we "inquiring" about NPR and PBS instead of simply defunding them? These are left-wing propaganda outfits, and unfailingly we will have idiot RINOs supporting their funding with taxpayer dollars anyway.

Back when there were only three commercial networks, you could make the case for PBS.

That ship sailed a long time ago.

Take away any television licenses for local PBS stations.

They do not serve the public interest—they are leftist propaganda outlets.

How about their BLATANT support of insane Democrat policies and denigration of anything conservative?

The best solution is to cut them loose and let them live or die in the market. There is no longer ANY reason to provide them public support. We now have millions of choices available via the web and OTA broadcasts.

“Back when there were only three commercial networks, you could make the case for PBS.”

There is absolutely no Constitutional authorization for the Federal government to fund a tv network.

Is Carr a Trump appointee, or is he a holdover from the Biden gang?

” this program brought to you by contributions from the \=÷;*oligarch foundation....”

they often document it themselves at the beginning and ending of many pbs specials and airings.

The Republicans won’t do it. They may whine and complain about the bias and subsidies but at the end of the day they are too fearful of criticism to actually pull the funding.

I’m in favor of them receiving 100% of their funding from sponsorships. And zero % from taxpayers.

They can be like other programs, and require paid subscriptions. (I wonder how long they’d survive...)
