The only people I’ve noticed in the business world using pronouns, appear to be women, and by appearance one would have no doubt they are women.

Perhaps it’s virtue signaling by some, to use pronouns? Because based on what I’ve seen, the pronouns are redundant.

...and other black or foreign names that don’t indicate a specific gender?

I could see giving exceptions in those cases.
