President Donald Trump's government is beginning to take form following his inauguration on Jan. 20, but he is still waiting for a few key players to join the team.
A large number of government positions require the U.S. Senate's approval, including every Cabinet secretary and other Cabinet-level officials.
In order to be formally hired, Trump's nominees must first undergo confirmation hearings, where senators can grill them on their qualifications and confront them with any concerns. The Senate will then deliberate and, ultimately, schedule votes on whether to approve or deny each of Trump's nominees.

Did Biden have 4 people after 2 weeks? Doubtful. Republicans are totally useless and totally against Trump again. Go on break and let Trump do the job you’re too scared to do .

The dems are enforcing the 30 hours of debate rule. Thune should say fine. We’ll run 24/7 until this is done or have the debate every night from 9pm-9am.

Why haven’t they confirmed Bondi yet? I heard Adam Schiff put a 7 day hold on her confirmation after she eviscerated him during her hearing, but she'll be confirmed soon.

Republicans are totally useless and totally against Trump again.
How many Republican senators voted for Hegseth? Weren't there 50 GOP votes and enough to confirm? You just said there was zero support.
People like you bore me to death with your ignorant and false proclamations. Give it a rest.

2 weeks in and Trump has 4 confirmed appointments. Great, they got Pete in but they are obviously slow walking this on purpose. Go check, how many did Biden have 2 weeks in? Was Tillis hemming and hawing? They are fence sitting cowards. If Trump does a great job these pricks will be telling us how they worked with Trump to turn it around and if he does poorly they’ll run for the hills. Congress is filled with cowards.

There are cowards and sell outs on the GOP side for sure, but their numbers are thankfully dwindling in the era of Trump. There are certainly a lot fewer of them now compared to 2017.
In order to more effectively reduce their influence, we should target our wrath directly onto the remaining RINOs, rather than denigrating the party as a whole. We are winning, but much work remains.

I believe, this is slightly outdated.

A lot of Dems want to stall .. their backsides itch, and index fingers must be extracted from there , and brown stains must be washed off. They are debating now, and the Dems aren't talking about Bondi at all, just complaining about Tariffs
