Of course, but when you leave lots of loose ends things unravel

And to think years later Tyne Daly would be in a series with another female partner.

Ultimately it is the helicopter pilots fault.
He should be able to fly with little to no air traffic control. He is in the military.
Are there problems with air traffic control? Yes.

Sounds like they're trying to set up a narrative with this overworked bit. You can bet the rent Trump and others know everything about the ATC employee controlling that approach. If there is something questionable or alarming about that individual, they know it and we will to.
I'm confident the cause of this is a major eff up. So it shouldn't be too hard for them to come up with a cause.

This happened over Germany years ago with a DHL cargo jet ✈️ and a Russian passenger plane ✈️
Controller in Switzerland was doing the job of two people - gave conflicting orders to the Russian plane when TCAS had already resolved the conflict

Yeah but Euro rules didn’t clarify which to ignore, the ATC or TCAS in the German midair. Our rules said go with TCAS every time.
Was the saddest stories I’ve ever heard and that didn’t end with the crash.

Was the supervisor a member of a protected class? And did he or she allow another fellow member of a protected class to leave early or get away with a long break?
It was reported that the day before a plane had to avert a landing because a helicopter appeared in its path and messed up the runway approach.

Russian pilots were told to obey ATC over TCAS - according to one air disaster investigation
The controller also read the planes incorrectly - told the wrong plane to look in the wrong spot
At the closing speed it would not have made a difference
But TCAS was correct, of course

Good points I’m sure. Thanks for the mention.
Hate to see it. There was quite a period of no big fatality
crashes broken.

I saw the report about the incident the day before. At least with President Trump being in office, we won’t be fed a line to cover up the truth.

Not hard to understand. Should have been thirty but there were only 22 controllers. 8 were working from home and haven’t decided if they were going to return. The DEI team was there (the blind one, the deaf one, and the mute one) but they were on their mandatory rest period.
