RFK Jr. Fires Back as Dem Senator Screams at Him During Confirmation Hearing: 'Absolutely Wrong'
The Western Journal ^ | January 29, 2025 | Randy DeSoto

Department of Health and Human Services Secretary nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. got into a heated exchange with Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden or Oregon on Wednesday regarding RFK Jr.'s views concerning vaccines.

In his opening statement before the Senate Finance Committee during his confirmation hearing, Kennedy said, "News reports have claimed that I am anti-vaccine or anti-[pharmaceutical] industry. I am neither."

“I am pro-safety. I worked for years to raise awareness about the mercury and toxic chemicals in fish, and nobody called me anti-fish," he continued.

"I believe that vaccines play a critical role in health care. All of my kids are vaccinated,” RFK Jr. said.

Wyden, the ranking member of the committee, accused Kennedy of making conflicting statements about his position on vaccines.

"In your testimony today under oath, you denied that you are anti-vaccine, but during a podcast interview in July of 2023, you said, 'No vaccine is safe and effective,'" the senator said.

Wyden referenced another 2020 podcast in which he said Kennedy stated, if he had it to do over again, he would not have vaccinated his kids.

"Are you lying to Congress today when you say you are pro-vaccine or did you lie on all those podcasts?"

Kennedy responded, "Senator, as you know, because it’s been repeatedly debunked that statement that I made on the Lex Fridman podcast [in 2023] was a fragment of the statement."

"He asked me, ‘Are there vaccines that are safe and effective?’ And I said to him, ‘Some of the live virus vaccines are.’ And I said, 'There are no vaccines that are safe and effective,' and I was going to continue ‘for every person.’"

"Every medicine has people who are sensitive to them, including vaccines...

The dems today sounded like a bunch of scum sucking rats who are all on the take from drug companies but tried to make out that they were holier than thou. Sanders and Pocahontas each have taken in over $1 million in donations from drug companies.

We’re talking confirmations here. The Democrat Party won’t be happy unless and until it brings down one of PDJT’s nominees.

Wouldn’t it be ironic if the only nominees the Dems stopped were the ones that actually WERE Democrats (RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard)?

The demondogs need the issue, If a problem ever gets solved they lose votes.

MNRA is not a vaccine. It is a gene therapy that has never passed clinical trial under non emergency testing.

CDC had to change the definition of vaccine in order to lie about it.

As usual the screaming clowns in the Political/Media machine are lying to the US people again.

Vaccines are not an all the or nothing proposition.

Correct. Show me anyone who would not take a rabies vaccine after discovering he had been bitten by a rabid bat.

Show me anyone who would take the Swine Flu vaccine, or the first Hep-B vaccine, or the Astra Zeneca Covid shot.

Its a twofold purpose:

To take down a Trump nominee

To take down a “turncoat” democrat

Ron Wyden doesn't look too healthy. He exhibits something akin to the pallor of death.

They can’t stand the fact that the last scion of the legendary Democrat Kennedy family wants to work for Trump.

They think they can treat him poorly and deprive Trump of what he wants. But if they do, what will happen I believe is, Trump will use a recess appointment to put Bobby in, thus getting what he wants despite them. But they will piss off some very powerful and wealthy people including Nicole Shanahan and Elon Musk, who will spend whatever it takes to make their next re-election campaign a very expensive and painful one, and very likely will lose their seat.

Trump can get what he wants either way, but there’s only one way they can reasonably expect to stay in the Senate beyond this term. FAFO.

1. If he was being nominated for the same post by a “President Harris”, the Dims would not now be opposing him.

2. They are opposing him now because he is a Dim traitor, a “turncoat”.

3. But they are also oppposing him because he no longer has faith in some of the Dims favorite bureaucracies, and that too is a form of treason to them, as it was never “our democracy” that was at risk by Trump, it was their bureaucracy that as at risk, and RFKs positions are emblematic of that.

Junior’s father, RFK worked as a young lawyer for Joseph McCarthy (R-WI). Like Trump, McCarthy was right too. Democrats don’t know whether to **** or go blind.

The only way Biden could get FDA approval for the experimental covid serum was by forcing out two FDA scientist-MDs who refused to sign off until FDA protocols had been satisfied.
Then the eager rodents appointed rubber stamps who quickly signed off.
It was completely irresponsible.

In Trump's second term, he's appointed two former Democrats. Rather than being happy that Trump has moved to the center from the RINOs, the Rats are miserable. They oppose them because they will do anything to try to stop the MAGA agenda. Consider that when Bill Clinton nominated Republican Senator William Cohen as Sec. of Defense, he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate unanimously. RFK, Jr. and Gabbard may not get a single Rat vote. People will take notice, and Senators opposing Trump's people may pay a price for their obstructionism.
