Israel has not made a decision allowing the transfer of seized Russian weapons to Ukraine, said Israel's Ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, in an interview for Radio Liberty.
Brodsky noted that Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister, Sharren Haskel when she was a member of the Knesset, introduced a bill proposing to start transferring seized Russian-made weapons to Ukraine. However, the bill did not pass in parliament. In her current position, Haskel cannot submit private legislative initiatives.
"The issue of weapon transfers is entirely under the jurisdiction of the military and the Ministry of Defense. No such decision has been made by the Ministry of Defense," Brodsky added. Last week, the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel shared the results of a meeting between Ambassador Yevgen Korniychuk and Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel.
Korniychuk thanked the official for her initiative to transfer Russian-made weapons seized by the IDF in Lebanon to Ukraine.
At the same time, the Embassy emphasized that they expect a positive decision from the Israeli government on this matter.
The Embassy did not specify that Haskel had previously introduced a bill in the Knesset on such assistance to Ukraine, but it was not approved.

Too bad, so sad.
I bet Trump’s people called Netanyahu’s people.
“If you guys like the billions we send you - don’t send weapons to Ukraine.”
Pretty lame article in that it does not state the when, why, what… caused Israel to gain possession of seized Russian weapons.
VERY SMART of Israel to maintain it’s neutrality regarding Ukraine and Russia.
A lesson for all of us (particularly the Zeepers).
You’re right, Stingray, they should have included that info in the article.
The Russian made weapons were used by Hezbollah. They were seized by Israel in November during the IDF’s advances into Southern Lebanon.
“Pretty lame article in that it does not state the when, why, what… caused Israel to gain possession of seized Russian weapons.”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Russia has been feeding its proxies: IRAN, Hezbollah and Hamas with Russian weaponry for years.
All the Russian weapons Isreal has seized in Lebanon lately has either already been sent (secretly) to Ukraine (according to pro-Russian bloggers) or will soon be sent more officially.
The message states:
“Korniychuk thanked the official for her initiative to transfer Russian-made weapons seized by the IDF in Lebanon to Ukraine.
At the same time, the Embassy emphasized that they expect a positive decision from the Israeli government on this matter.”
Some delays have to be expected in such important military decisions.
I knew that other article was BS
You act like RBC is a Russian source hiding info unfavorable to Russia.
Well, guess what froggie?! It’s a UKRAINIAN source, so there goes your premise.
https://newsukraine.rbc.ua/about.shtml
RBC-Ukraine is a Ukrainian news website that has been operating in the media market since 2006 and covers the most important events in Ukraine and the world. Today, RBC-Ukraine consistently ranks among the top three most visited online media outlets in Ukraine and is one of the most quoted media sources.
>>>>All the Russian weapons Isreal has seized in Lebanon lately has either already been sent (secretly) to Ukraine (according to pro-Russian bloggers) or will soon be sent more officially.<<<<
And what’s your source for this juicy tidbit, froggie? Got anything more credible than “pro-Russian bloggers”?
>>>>I bet Trump’s people called Netanyahu’s people.

Sounds like Trump to me.

Oh, and BTW, froggie, Korniychuk is the UKRAINIAN ambassador, and the Embassy mentioned, is the UKRAINIAN embassy.
You fail to mention that in your comment.
Ukrainians/zeepers are currently suffering from False Hope Syndrome.
Next month, you’ll all be jumping off buildings.
France should supply their Weapons and Treasure to YouCraynee.
Desperation is setting in for Zeepers.
>>>>I knew that other article was BS<<<<
Zeepers are all War Pigs who pump out Fake News:
“Ukraine is winning!”
“Putin is dead!”
“Big move coming!”
“Russia to surrender soon!”
Gotta keep that money flowing into their homeland, Ukraine.
They've got plenty of leftovers.
Israel has captured a ton of stuff in previous wars. They may have picked up some stuff when the Syrian government collapsed and the IDF moved over the border (in the Golan Heights) to take up positions that the Syrians vacated.
A lesson for all of us (particularly the Zeepers).
Yes, it would be very smart for the U.S. to maintain its neutrality -- in all foreign conflicts.
Not that Israel wants us to learn that lesson.
“And what’s your source for this juicy tidbit, froggie? Got anything more credible than “pro-Russian bloggers”?”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Indeed, I referred to the TWO MAJORS (in Russian its “DVA MAJORS”).
It’s a pro-Russian military blog. They are highly upset that Israel is now helping Ukraine military.
Look here:
“There are signs that Israel has begun supplying Ukraine with Soviet and Russian-made weapons,” Two Majors, a pro-Russia military blog on the Telegram social messaging site, told its 1.2 million subscribers on Sunday.”
You can read that precisely in this article:
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2025/01/26/israel-sends-weapons-captured-from-lebanon-to-ukraine/
Thus, you see, I never invent things.

It clearly shows something is happening with Isreal / Ukraine :
Biden and the Democrats are OK with arming foreign countries but grabbing guns from Americans is an obsession w/ them. The same “Congress” that gleefully tramples 2A rights, is hell bent on supplying weapons to foreign countries.
Not content w/ the mega billions already in his pocket, Zelensky now says
he wants US tax dollars to Ukraine “according to the Israeli model”......here’s what he means:
Congressional Research Service
US Foreign aid to Israel
60 page detailed report
https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/RL/RL33222/44
The concerned Israeli lobby made sure Congress is required by law to ensure that U.S. military aid in the Middle East region doesn’t damage Israel’s military superiority over its neighbors. That requirement enjoys broad bipartisan support and has served as a benchmark for ensuring Israel receives robust U.S. support.
Biden keeps gaslighting Americans about the “need” for
American foreign aid tax dollars to Ukraine and Israel.
Here’s why they DONT need it:
About $113.1 billion in tax dollars were authorized in 2022 for Ukraine, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget. Most of it–about $67.1 billion–was defense-related. The other $46 billion included:
<><>$26.9 billion for economic support;
<><>$7.9 billion for international disaster assistance;
<><>$6.6 billion in assistance for refugees;
<><>$1.5 billion for assistance for Europe, Eurasia and Central Asia;
<><>plus $3.1 billion for other non-defense spending.
US tax dollars
<><>paid salaries of Ukraine’s 618,000 educators, 517,000 health workers, and 56,500 first responders
<><>sustained critical healthcare services,
<><>met pension responsibilities for 9.8 million Ukranians,
<><>assisted 1.3 million internally displaced persons,
<><>provided housing assistance to 4.1 million people,
<><>provided social assistance to 240,000 low-income families
<><>subsidized 480,000 persons with disabilities,
<><>bought supplies for farmers,
<><>financed finding markets for small business.
Backstory: Since 1973, Israel has received more than $120 billion US tax
dollars in MILITARY assistance alone, including “three special aid” packages.
<><>billions for signing the Israel-Egypt peace treaty
<><>billions for Israel’s withdrawal from the Sinai.
<><>billions for redeployment of Israeli forces
<><>rebuilding Israeli air bases in the Negev cost $5 billion.
Besides weaponry, Israel also receives economic and humanitarian foreign aid, which supports broad economic development and sociopolitical stability and can include non-military support related to the country’s pressing security needs.
Military aid from US taxpayers has blanketed Israel over the years. They have more than enough resources, now, to nail Hamas and Hezbollah. Wealthy Israel has very low debt, and actually had a budget surplus this year, while the US is $33 trillion in debt, a debt which future generations are saddled with.
During the 2024 election year, Biden blanketed Israel w/ $17.9 billion tax dollars in one year alone, saying, “Nobody has done more for Tsrael than T have.”
Israel isn’t using the Russian stuff, and doesn’t want it
Sounds like its only a matter of time until this transfer happens
PutinBots on FR will be very saddened, lol
