WASHINGTON — The White House is seeking to send a message to reticent Senate Republicans to get on board with all of President Donald Trump’s nominees, warning of political consequences for those who defy him.
“It’s pass-fail. You either support everyone or you don’t,” a senior White House official told NBC News. “The Senate needs to advise and consent, not advise and adjust.”

Including Lori Chavez de Remer, the Big Labor Republican who opposes Right to Work and is up for Labor Secretary?
No, thank you.
I wonder if this will be used as an “impeachable offense” in a couple years.
“Interfering with Congress,” or “Intimidation of Public Officials.” Something like that.
I wonder if Thune wants to be known as “the Paul Ryan of the Senate”?
Absolutely. The deep state is scared shxtless about Trump. If the Rats win house in 2026, impeachment attempt is guaranteed. But it will fail in senate to confirm.
Most career politicians want middle of the road, go along to get along type of people. There are a few exceptions such as Rand Paul.
That includes the swishing little princess Linda Graham. Lately he has started to get uppity.
He needs to be whittled down to size until he shows some respect.
Trump is friendly with unions, and he employed tons of union labor in his business. Which is why he received more union votes than other republicans. Winning is not everything, it is the only thing. (per coach Lombardi).
This is a big week for confirmations.
There are some retirees etc who dont care...including the former leader McConnell
Collins and Murkowski should be targets 1A and 1B
Any President who wins in a landslide should expect support from his own Party.
Even if it means betraying your base?
As conservatives, we’re pro-right to work. We oppose Big Labor.
Chavez deRemer is on the other side.
Murkowski, absolutely. Collins may be about the best we can get out of Maine.
They feel fail proof for reelection. LM feels she doesn’t have to play by the party rules in her state, hence her reelection, and the libtards of Maine think Susan Collins Job is to put the brakes on republicans while cooperating with the Dems. She should just caucus with the Dems.
It would surprise you as to just what the base is made up of. It is TRUMP’S base, not necessarily a wholly conservative one.
When MAGA strays from principles, it’s our job to hold their feet to the fire and bring them back to the right policies. Chavez deRemer is not one of us.
Listless vessels was an accurate term.
I’m Trump’s base. What he wants, I want. Anyone, whether they call themselves conservative or not, who doesn’t follow Trump gets nothing from me. Including respect.
They’re acting like the Democrats don’t do this.
Unless you march in party unison or are the designated special snowflake for whatever reason (Fetterman now) they strip you of committee assignment, fund raising, raise up a primary opponent, etc.
It’s news when republicans demand party unity.
