AUSTIN, Texas — Military police and Army engineers from seven states will join Marine Corps engineers from California already en route for a deployment to the U.S. border with Mexico ordered Monday by President Donald Trump. In total, 1,500 active-duty troops will join about 2,500 National Guard members and helicopter crews already working at the southwest border in support of Customs and Border Protection. The forces will install physical barriers along the border and conduct detection and monitoring missions, according to U.S. Northern Command, which is leading the mission. The first wave of active-duty troops was expected to be at locations along the border by the end of the week. NORTHCOM would not say exactly where the troops would deploy.

Yes and it’s a good start we have a president now.
Divisions needed to guard our borders and special forces to wipe out the cartels - with or without corrupt Mexico's permission.
Yes. 100,000 would be a good show of force.
Correction, Vaduz… We have an AMERICAN president now.
Respectfully, bro…
Finally, some common sense.
Yes and it’s a good start we have a president now.
This is fantastic news but there is an issue with relying on this type of deterrent.
Trump won’t be in office forever.
Unless a real and permanent barrier is erected, the next Dem administration will simply walk away from the border, stop enforcement and allow another 10 million 3rd worlders to stroll into the country.
Don’t know how long this pace can last.
A long time he had 4 years to remember things and how they were destroyed his fix it list is a long one.
Those who don’t help will have a career reduced in politics to many voters are on the list of watching them.
It’s a start!
Agree the others are Bolsheviks only intent is to harm America as we have seen.
All anyone can do is the best they can.
President Trump gets an A+ on this issue.
Hopefully with improved election security we can then have eight years of President Vance to continue the successful and popular policy.
Barriers mean nothing by themselves. They require constant overwatch by police or military forces to be effective.
What is started by executive order can be stopped by executive order. Actual laws passed by Congress are somewhat more difficult to stop. Though we saw in the Biden administration that laws mean almost nothing to Democrats. They do whatever they want until they are removed from office.
There must not be a "next Democrat administration" for many years. Otherwise, they will undo everything that President Trump gets accomplished. That is the explicit policy of Democrats.
What we need are hard-liner American nationalists controlling Congress and the Presidency for a generation. There is a lot of work ahead of us.
It would be interesting to know what rules of engagement have been issued.
Trump is thinking about eliminating FEMA. Couldn’t the military do a better job? They got the equipment.
I am quite sure Trump had plenty of time between his last presidency and now to think and prepare what he was going to implement and now things are moving forward as they should with a real president. May the Lord shield and protect him.
Otherwise, they will undo everything that President Trump gets accomplished. That is the explicit policy of Democrats.

The actual explicit policy of the Democrats is not aimed at undoing what 47 does, but aimed at destroying America completely.
It would be interesting to know what rules of engagement have been issued.

The only one mentioned is fire when fired upon.
I agree. It’s great that he is doing this. Hopefully over the next 4 years he will finish the wall and make the protection permanent. Then we could withstand 4 years here and there of traitors getting into the Oval Office.
