Biden grants clemency to drug dealer convicted in double slaying of 8-year-old boy and his mom, sparking outrage – even from Democrats

A Connecticut drug kingpin convicted in the deaths of an 8-year-old boy and his mother was granted clemency by President Joe Biden — in a stunning 11th-hour move slammed by fellow Democrats.

Adrian Peeler, 48, of Bridgeport, served 25 years in state prison on conspiracy charges in the deaths of Karen Clarke and her 8-year-old son, Leroy “BJ” Brown, in January 1999, CT Mirror reported.

The two had been slated to testify a month later against Peeler’s brother, fellow drug gang leader Russell Peeler, who was on trial for killing Clarke’s boyfriend, rival dealer Rudolf Snead

...

The stunning move was met with immediate outrage.

“We’ve been blindsided, where is the justice for my family?” Oswald Clarke, Karen Clarke’s brother, told CT Examiner. “It’s like we are hearing of BJ and Karen’s deaths all over again — but this time their killer is going free.”

...

“It seems to me that someone dropped the ball here to let his person get released,” US Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), who was the state’s attorney general when the murders were committed

...

“This reckless act by Joe Biden dismisses the pain of the victims’ families and erodes public trust in the principles of justice. Such a careless decision at the close of his term should generate outrage here and throughout the nation.”

...

Wow — are you … kidding me? Biden did that?” former Deputy Chief State’s Attorney Christopher Morano, who developed the state witness protection program after the killings, told the outlet when he found out about Biden’s move.

“Where’s the prosecutor screaming and yelling about this?” he asked, adding that he thought it unfathomable that no one checked Peeler’s criminal history before the commutation.

All of the January 6th prisoners pardoned by President Trump already punished by the process they went through up to four years in prison whether you walked around or got into a fight with a cop.

Too much drama about those pardons look at who Biden pardoned.

10% for The Big Guy.

^The most likely explanation. Drug gangs have money to spread around. In this case, the Big Guy’s cut was probably more than 10%.

Oh, no, I remember reading about this case years ago. IIRC, as part of witness protection, the police watched the mother’s home where she lived with her son, but she told them to stop because the police presence made her a target. (I can’t remember why they were never moved somewhere else.) Police said, apparently, they both were chased up the stairs, and the boy was shot on the steps by the coldhearted killer. I’ll never forget that heartbreaking story.

I remember this case. I lived in the next town over from Bridgeport. It was a no go zone after dark. The only reasons I went to Bridgeport is because it had a nice minor league baseball stadium and dog track.

One of those Bidens who also received a PARDON must have received a payment from this criminal recently.

You would think someone like Catherine Herridge or any other real investigative reporter would dig into this.

Maybe it was a Cartel recommendation... For all we know the Cartels will murder democrats who "gave" them the right to sell American citizenship. I'm guessing Cartels don't like being betrayed. Could get weird.
