Huntington Beach City Council members unanimously agreed to ignore California’s sanctuary state law on Tuesday night, ordering police officers to work with federal immigration authorities and notify federal officials when they are about to release an undocumented immigrant from jail.
It comes as Surf City launched a lawsuit against the state claiming the current rules are unconstitutional.

Ponch and John gonna go arrest the Huntington Beach PD when they make the illegals nervous?
What a great opportunity for CA cities to drive illegals to the sanctuaries that say they want them. Perfect strategy to oppose Cloward-Piven. Localize the effect to the bluest areas. And under Trump, ICE will be more than willing to help.
Kind of like a donut shop that offers free donuts and coffee to cops, and never worries about being robbed. Red towns could offer free space for ICE to set up shop, and full LEO support when needed.
Trump Supporters Rally in Huntington Beach to Wind Up Campaign
Good. Hold out Huntington, spread the legality of state and US citizens first!
May God bless HB with perfect waves and easy pier shots forever! I still can remember David Nuuhiwa’s epic nose ride in ‘66. Amazing.
The “Huntington Beach Badboy Tito Ortiz- huge Trump supproter
““I walk with a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat — Latinos for Trump,” he said Monday during an appearance on FOX Business’ “Mornings with Maria.”
In fact, the former light heavyweight champion, known as “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy,” said there are “so many” Latinos that support Trump, but are afraid to come out and say it. “

Woot. Time to arrest those stopping this, such as the gov.
Since the mid-1950s Huntington Beach was our go-to beach. We usually went to the State Park to the east of the pier, but I went fishing on the pier many times, back when you could actually catch fish there. We mostly caught croaker, which we call “Pasadena trout”—they look a lot like trout, but their meat is rather mushy.
You used to drive through farm country to get to HB—bean fields along Beach Blvd. and dairy farms along Golden West Ave.
Even the most brain-dead leftists worry about their own property values.
Surf City, here we come . . .
Mrs. Chandler caught what locals said was the largest jacksmelt they ever saw caught off the Huntington Beach pier.
It was delicious.
ICE ICE BABY!
Huntington Beach was always more conservative than the rest in the county. No?
A glimmer of sanity leaks out from under the pall of smoke.
Score!

Same up north; you could stop in Castroville on your way to Santa Cruz and buy 20 artichokes for a dollar! Those were the days.
