US election: How big a win was this for Donald Trump?

"America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate. It was a historic realignment. Uniting citizens of all backgrounds around a common core of common sense."

Never knowingly understated, those were some of the words of Donald Trump as he proclaimed victory in the morning after the election on Tuesday 5 November 2024.

Unlike some of his claims following the 2020 election, much of the statement above is supported by data.

President-elect Trump increased his vote share in 90% of US counties, compared with 2020, and became just the second Republican since 1988 to win the popular vote.

He also increased his vote significantly among many demographic groups which had been least likely to back him in the past.

As he prepares to become president for the second time, where does his victory rank in history, and how much of a mandate does he really have from the American people?

While a big personal win for him, it was a monumental win for We, the People.

I can almost...almost forgive 2020 because it rubbed the country’s nose in the sh1t FJB and the dumblecrats made us eat.
Thank God, we didn’t like it.

The insane fact that over 75 Million people voted for kamaLa Harris + Tampon Tim Waltz means that the next four years are going to be very difficult.

Their entire campaign was: Vote for us because ... "Joy!"

And over 75 Million Americans actually voted for "Joy!" (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean in the context of kamaLa & Tampon Tim).

It's like almost half of the electorate has literally lost their damn minds. Seriously. Can you imagine being stuck listening to kamaLa Kackling continuously for the next 8 years? That's what those 75 Million Dumb Democrats voted for. Incredible. The Democrat Party could have put a McDonald's french fry on the podium and said that's our Democrat Presidential nominee and 75 Million (maybe 76 Million) Dumb Democrat voters would have said, Oh yeah, I'm voting for that!

(smh)

The final numbers do not support a powerful mandate. Yet Trump must govern as if the election was a landslide .

Winning doesn’t just mean control of the Executive branch, it means the fake news propaganda machine loses control over what the American people see and hear from President Trump.

Democrat voters will be seeing hours and hours of President Trump not filtered by the fake news.

He is a national treasure - he is an incredibly gifted negotiator - a persuasive communicator - and he’s actually a kind and gentle man - we already knew all that - now the fake news will not be able to keep this great man under wraps and tens of millions of Democrat voters are going to see another side - see the good in him. And there’s a lot of good to see.

Of course, there are still tens of millions of haters who are too far gone - too brainwashed. That’s ok.

All it takes is just enough people waking up from their hypnosis - just enough people questioning the fake news liars - I think the worm is turning.

The final numbers do not support a powerful mandate.

These statistics do, in my opinion:
Whether this is a "powerful mandate" or not is all about perspective. Reagan won in a landslide, but still had a Democratic-controlled Congress. Trump and Republicans currently control the entire government, at least until the 2026 midterm elections.

YUP!

Thanks be to Sloe Joe, The Hoe and their Democrat cronies who FRom day one of his stolen _residency showed America and the World how criminal, self-serving, feckless and inept they are!

Sloe Joe and The Hoe and their Democrat cronies have destroyed the Democrat Party!

America and the World suffered for four miserable years, but as a result of the Democrat perfidy, President Trump was resoundingly re-elected and with our help, will Make America Great Again!

One important thing Trump needs to do is to end the student loans program for higher education. Once that dries up, Democrats won't be able to indoctrinate our youth like they've been doing the last couple of decades.
