Demographics is everything.
“In 1960,” explains Buchanan, “America was a nation of 180 million, 89 percent of whom were of European ancestry, 10 percent black, with a few million Hispanics and Asians sprinkled among us. Ninety-seven percent of us spoke English. … [But]by 2050, they [Hispanics] will be 24 percent of a nation of 420 million. By nation of origin of our people, America will be a Third World country. Our great cities will all look like Los Angeles today. Los Angeles and the cities of the Southwest will look like Juarez and Tijuana. Though we were never consulted about this transformation, never voted for it, and have protested against it in every poll and referendum, this is the future the elites have prepared for our children.”
The Great Replacement.
White people are sleep walking into oblivion.
He’s gotta be pushing 90 right now. Doesn’t write much. Health’s gotta be declining. Hopefully Trump’s election is lifting him up.
“Right from the Beginning!”
Buchanan, Patrick J. (December 25, 1988), Right from the Beginning, Boston: Little, Brown, ISBN 0-316-11408-1.
Buchanan Brigade veteran.
Scarred but unbowed.
Absolutely! I have been hammering this as well on forums for years. The biggest critics of Pat were the civnatcuck globalist sellout establishment schills like Bush and others.
Pat has been literally a prophet in this issue.
1-800-GO-PAT-GO
I remember shoveling snow in 1992, thinking about Buchanan's strong showing in New Hampshire, feeling hopeful that he might topple King George.
The 1965 immigration law has done more permanent damage than our foreign enemies. All self-inflicted.
And a lot of it was endorsed and supported by empty headed Republicans too stupid to see that it was destroying the high trust society that America had before we were forced to accept a flood from the 3rd world.
Some of these dimwitted GOPers even sided with Mexico during the California Prop 187 fight. Jack Kemp. GW Bush. Bill Bennett. Even Bob Dornan, who didn’t wise up until population replacement cost him his seat in Congress.
I remember Buchanah’s last speech, the rejected stone, becoming the keystone. He was the start of what would become MAGA. I supported him and took a lot of heat for it. I remember his call to “ride to the sound of the guns.” The time wasn’t right for him—but he would have been a change.
America would have been a lot better off if Buchanan won back in the 90s .
“Demographics is destiny”
Said by someone smarter than me.
Medal of Freedom for Pat! He deserves it!
“Los Angeles and the cities of the Southwest will look like Juarez and Tijuana”
Which is why, for example, Anaheim High School is now 94% “hispanic” where in 1973 it was more like 90% “non-hispanic White” as we Americans are sneeringly referred to; an appellation that would have been considered absurd just 40 years ago.
“Young men are even afraid of approaching a young lady for fear of being accused of being a stalker or sexual harassment”
Only the White men. Anyone else can engage in any sort of dominance games and no one will touch them. In fact, they will be lionized for masculine behavior.
In pre-Internet days, always made it a point to see Pat on Crossfire, McLaughlin Group, Capital Gang, etc.
Read his column and books religiously.
Enthusiastically voted for him in the 92 primary knowing it was an exercise in futility but not futile as a matter of principle.
Great man, never backed down or cucked in the face of smears and cancel culture.
The 1960 election killed America, now the fight is to see what we can salvage and at least modify our future.
“Crossfire, McLaughlin Group, Capital Gang,”
Political talk is sure dumbed down since that era. They all had been writers and that makes you organize your thoughts in a way that just cranking out videos and podcasts doesn’t.
Bob Novak wrote a memoir called Prince of Darkness. Anyone who liked those shows will find it fascinating.
