WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump signed an executive order temporarily suspending all U.S. foreign assistance programs for 90 days pending reviews to determine whether they are aligned with his policy goals.

It was not immediately clear how much assistance would initially be affected by the Monday order as funding for many programs has already been appropriated by Congress and is obligated to be spent, if not already spent.

The order, among many Trump signed on his first day back in office, said the “foreign aid industry and bureaucracy are not aligned with American interests and in many cases antithetical to American values” and “serve to destabilize world peace by promoting ideas in foreign countries that are directly inverse to harmonious and stable relations internal to and among countries.”

This foreign assistance should go to the U.S. Their entire populations are living here illegally, Use the foreign aid money to give them their welcome baskets.

Beautiful! Those countries who don’t support our policies can do without our tax dollars. In fact, if I were Trump, I’d ask Biden to return his Ukrainian kickbacks to the US Treasury.

At the VERY LEAST Trump will demand accountability for the money going to Ukraine - as in AUDITS. And then it will be fun to watch the Zeepers trying to defend Ukraine.

Much foreign ‘aid’ is thanks for buying an American politician’s so-called speech for $10,000 A MINUTE. Isn’t that what Hillary used to charge?

Trump to Zelensky: if you want any more assistance, please provide the banks and account numbers where Biden’s kickbacks were deposited.

And if that corruptions isn’t enough, how about the ‘we’ll buy a million of your books’ AND pay the Publisher NOT to print them so they don’t show up on the secondary markets? Wouldn’t want someone asking questions, right?

"...suspending all U.S. foreign assistance programs for 90 days pending reviews to determine whether they are aligned with his policy goals."

Just common sense. Wonders what was the criteria previously.
