It’s hard to say who is the worst attorney general in American history. The candidates are many and comprise a veritable rogue’s gallery of sadists, reactionaries and incompetents. They range from A. Mitchell Palmer, mastermind of the original Red Scare that decimated the left in the wake of the First World War, to Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III and William Pelham Barr, who sacrificed the rule of law in service to Donald Trump.
Merrick Garland may not share the malignancies of his fellow train wrecks, but he deserves to be in the discussion. Decades from now, historians will memorialize Garland not as a dedicated public servant and fair-minded federal judge whose nomination to the Supreme Court was torpedoed by Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans, but as the head of the Justice Department who brought a butter knife to an existential gunfight with Trump, quickening our collective descent into neo-fascism.

I post this to show the level of depraved and insane thinking among the left.
He’s saying Garland wasn’t despotic enough.
Ha.
They’re turning on each other.
“If Garland had only jailed more conservatives…”
It does serve to inform us of their intended direction.
They wish to be MORE of a banana republic.
Its not for a lack of trying that Garland failed to get Trump..
Garland tried to set up a timeline that would incapacitate Trump during the peak of the campaign but the vagaries of the justice system prevented perfect timing.
He was also obsessed with his legacy and tried his best to look impartial. We weren’t fooled.
Pure totalitarianism is what they want. 1984 style with The Borg mindset.
Surely Merrick could have found a crime had he looked hard enough. 🤡
Merrick Garland said 90% of the terrorism in the U.S. was from Catholics. How come he didn’t round up all Catholics into camps, and end terrorism forever?
“...Mitchell Palmer, mastermind of the original Red Scare that decimated the left in the wake of the First World War,...”
This is a very strong endorsement of an effective AG.
As I am not a younger man, my Plan B would be to do what the young Chinese are doing today and simply milk the system for all it's worth.
Hopefully the Dems never seize power again in my lifetime, as I prefer to be industrious.
There are elements in the DemonCrap party who look at totalitarianism, Orwellian behaviors, and banana-republic tactics ... and lust for them.
These people are nuts. Steer clear.
The left seethed with rage every time a Maga rally was held, and disseminated. You could almost hear the sneers of “he’s supposed to be in jail”, on the wind.
MSN makes me want to puke whenever I boot my computer up - gonna have to switch to LINUX.....
I take a DUmpster dive once or twice a day and it is scary how unhinged they are. They truly believe Trump is Hitler and we are going into a new Third Reich. They are childish and they believe their own propaganda.
News articles and X posts have missed the most risible element of this video of Garland leaving the DOJ.
What is most disgusting is the statement being made by the throngs that are lined up to see him off. This is the DOJ. They are pro-Garland to the end. They are saying that they are all loyal to Garland’s mission even into the next Administration. This is an INSTITUTIONAL statement that the DOJ is owned by its loyal, lawfare Democrats.
It’s MSM....so.....
Every time they scream “Neo Fascism” another Trump supporters is born.
People who might actually listen to them simply turn them off as hysteric screaming children when they keep trotting that lie out.
He actually shat himself in front of God and everybody.
I like to think of myself as witty, but you have outdone anything I have ever written.
Expect this to be stolen.
Great observation.
And people scoff at deep state concept.
