Former news anchor Bill O’Reilly thinks President-elect Trump’s past dealings with the mob have prepared him for tough negotiations with foreign leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
As a New York City real estate mogul, O’Reilly said Trump was willing to sit down and talk with the mob because he knew it had the power to derail his projects.
“Trump didn’t break the law, but he knew that the mob controlled the cement union workers and all this other stuff,” O’Reilly told NewsNation’s Leland Vittert in an upcoming special, “The United States of Trump.”
O’Reilly added: “He’ll talk with anybody, Trump, if he can get what he wants out of them.”
That experience, he continued, could serve the president-elect well as he begins his second term next week.
“He has no compunctions,” O’Reilly said. “Putin is one of the worst people on earth. Trump’s got a pretty good relationship with him.”

He’s probably had dealings with the mobs. It’s inevitable for large projects in New York. I agree with O’Reilly that he hasn’t done anything illegal, otherwise we would have heard about it by now.

Trump was a developer. He built things. He had to deal with NYC trade union threats and harassment. The Building Trades are the mob
I heard the interview, he called Trumkp a Gangster that can NOT be Bought no matter what. In other words: Trump is a BADASS.
Anybody dealing in real estate and construction in NYC is gonna run into organized crime at some point.
Some things in the Soaprano’s tv series are more accurate than we may think. Lol!

Michael Franzese said he was introduced to Trump once at a nightclub but that was the extent of it. Franzese brought up some interesting points about the assertion that Trump was mobbed-up. He never heard any mob guy say that he or some of his associates had their hooks in Trump. Also, given the hundreds and hundreds of hours of surveillance tapes of mob guys during that time and with all the enemies Trump had at the FBI and in NY LE, how come something implicating Trump hasn't been leaked?
Considering the total BS stuff they prosecuted him on in NY, you can be sure they had zero evidence of Trump playing patty cake with the Mob. If they had any evidence at all they would have jumped all over it. Trump has to be the cleanest developer in NY.
Anyone who does construction business in New Your has to deal with the mob or your out of the business.
Los Angeles has problem with paving jobs too and a few other types of work.

Can't remember the name of the series, but I think it was a five part series about taking down the Mob or the Five Families.
I remember the series gave a lot of detail on how the mob controlled all the concrete poured in Manhattan.
Trump in effect had to pay extra for getting the concrete through middle men and not dealing with the mob directly.
Trump unlike his son-in-law's father RESISTED going down the illegal path that could have easily been chosen.
But it is not all for naught, Jared still carries a wallet his daddy made in prison or so the story goes.
Just the words “mob dealings“ imply criminal behavior by Trump. But then, it is the Hill; what else would we expect?
