Blue state bungles put Democrats’ governing competency in question

From the federal government to the country’s biggest cities, Democrats find themselves grappling with a crisis of incompetence, facing off against voters who feel the party’s leaders have forgotten how to deliver on the government’s basic jobs.

Raging wildfires in California have made Gov. Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass the subjects of nationwide derision.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and New York City Mayor Eric Adams are both underwater with residents who want just about anyone else to lead them. And in Chicago, Mayor Brandon Johnson is the latest Democrat to leave voters nonplussed with his responses to homelessness, immigration and crime.

Add in President Biden’s hiccups at the national level and it’s a bad moment for Democrats, who have long held themselves out as the champions of how government can deliver solutions for average Americans.

“Democrats, in many ways, have essentially put the spotlight on themselves by advocating for higher taxes and a larger government role in society,” said Mark Jones, a political science professor at Rice University. “So when they fail, in California, Chicago or New York, it is more noticeable and consequential because Democrats have been making the case that is the optimal model.”

Democrats’ struggles come at a tricky time for the party, with members trying to figure out a path forward — and whom best to rally around — after surrendering the Senate back to Republicans and the White House to President-elect Donald Trump.

The cities are a particular worry for Democrats, who hold the mayor’s posts in 18 of the largest cities in the U.S. Republicans have a slight edge in governorships.

Mr. Johnson is now the most unpopular mayor in Chicago history. The city’s v0ters are questioning his competence after he struggled to deliver on a campaign promise to scrap a gunshot...

They want you to think they are incompetent so you don't swerve into the truth that it was deliberate and they should be criminally prosecuted.

Competency is not the objective.
Staying in power is the objective.
By whatever means they don’t care.

“Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach. Those who can’t do either become politicians.” the the incompetent become RINO’s and the REALLY incompetent become democrats. Proven every single day.

The disastrous states of every Democrat run big city called the ‘Rat Party’s competence into question decades ago.

“Democrat...failures are more noticeable and consequential because Democrats have been making the case that is the optimal model.”

It has nothing but tens of square miles of LA being turned to ashes, 25 dead, empty reservoirs.

It has nothing to do with Chicago and NYC spending billions on illegals and stiffing citizens.

It has nothing to do with the NY governor suing petroleum companies for damaging the climate.

It has nothing to do with Democrats letting murders, rapists and violent muggers loose through their revolving doors.

Nope, it’s just people are upset because their “model is not optimal”. Everywhere you look there are COLOSSAL Democrat disasters that harm our native tax-paying citizens. I hope people are absolutely fed up with their grift and incompetence.

Democrats may talk a good game about being the biggest protectors and defenders of the poor and middle class against the big, bad rich people and their corporations. But give them the reins of power over a city or state and they make it much too expensive to live and survive for everyone except the rich and wealthy.

The top most expensive cities in the United States to live in are all controlled by democrats. San Francisco, New York, Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, DC, Seattle, Chicago, etc.

Democrats don’t know how to govern, only how to rule.

For an outstanding explanation on how DEI woke elites (like Gavin) hang onto power by wrapping themselves in a fake cloak of righteous compassion even when they are manifestly incompetent, check out “Why Identity Politics is The Newest Incomplete Religion” by Dr. Josh Mitchell at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVmKSR3gacU

voters who feel the party’s leaders have forgotten how to deliver on the government’s basic jobs.

Since the Libs control the votes, there is no reason to run the government to benefit the citizens. The new Libs are only agenda driven. Mayor Bass, 50 trips to that workers paradise Cuba! Karen on number 50 you should of stayed!

They’ve only just figured this out? The hallmark of Democrats in power over the last 25 years or so has been gross incompetence, bordering on criminal negligence (and actual criminal activity, when they’re taking bribes or using inside information to make millions). Before that, they were a bunch of naïve incompetence, trying to do the right thing while simultaneously being utterly incapable of doing so.

Put RATs competency in question? (Rolling on the floor laughing..)

What fool could look at RAT policies and merely question RAT competency? NYC. ChiCongo. San Fransicko. LA. Austin. Ad infinitum.

RAT incompetency is a foregone conclusion.

Democrats’ governing competency in question.

Now if only their voters wise up to that fact.
