Nolte: Hollywood Mogul Tyler Perry Blames Insurance Companies Instead of California Democrats for Cancellations
Breitbart ^ | 01/13/2025 | John Nolte

Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry is blaming “greedy” insurance companies instead of California Democrats for people losing their homes and not having fire insurance.

“Watching a daughter use a garden hose to try and protect her 90-year-old parents’ home because their insurance was canceled was just gut-wrenching to me,” Perry wrote on Instagram. “Does anyone else find it appalling that insurance companies can take billions of dollars out of communities for years and then, all of a sudden, be allowed to cancel millions of policies for the very people they became rich on?”

“People who have paid premiums all of their lives are left with nothing because of pure greed,” he continued. “As I am in the process of trying to figure out what steps to take to do all I can to help as many as I can, I am keeping everyone in my prayers.”

Typical.

Blame the symptom rather then the disease.

Tyler seems to be unfamiliar with the concept of “pooled risk.”

Somebody important needs to tell the insurance companies to all leave California. Insurance is not a right like health care-lol.

They ARE!

The policies weren’t cancelled - the policies were not RENEWED as insurance companies are exiting the state.

If the policies were profitable, the insurance companies would be lining up to issue them.

“People who have paid premiums all of their lives are left with nothing because of pure greed”...

And this statement provided as an explanation for the direct cause of the cancellations is an example of pure dumbass. Typical assclown Hollywierd billionaire trying to curry favor with the libtard filth that are directly responsible for this calamity, while no doubt trying to get out of "paying his fair share" for the rebuilding later.

Strictly business. Nothing personal.
Insurance companies are in existence to maintain, discern, profit and expand. Empathy has very little to do with it.
Don’t believe all those glossy, well produced commercials.

Of course insurance companies are greedy.

You pay all your life, never ever file a single claim, and your insurance rates continue to go up and up.

Same with auto insurance...It’s bull sh*t.

If I had all the money I’d spent on insurance over the past 30 years, auto, house etc, I’d be very well off. Never once filed a claim, and these AH’s have done nothing but raise the rates, over and over and over. Spend a ton of money, with zip zero to show for any of it.

In the woke/pagan religious teleology, there are two categories of evil-doers, by which humanity inexplicably suffers.

One is climate change

the other is billionaires (insurance companies belong in that category)

I’m not in the habit of knowingly paying for nothing, so why don’t you explain why you deliberately paid for insurance (if you didn’t get anything in return)?
Next, maybe you’ll complain about all the time you’ve wasted putting on a seat belt because you’ve never been in an accident?

Ya know those Progressive commercials with Flo? Where she hands out empty boxes all wrapped up like gifts to the homos? It was genius marketing for the suckers.

I am required by law to purchase auto insurance. Never filed a claim in many decades. Same with home mortgages.

This isn't complex.
