A Kentucky woman was arrested on suspicion of arson amid the wildfires in Los Angeles that have destroyed 35,000 homes and businesses.
Gloria Lynn Mandich, 60, was charged with felony arson related to a January 8 brush fire in Los Angeles County. She allegedly started a new blaze near Leo Carrillo State Park outside of the city's multiple wildfires, announced California State Parks.
Mandich allegedly started the fire in an area that's currently under a red flag warning due to the multiple wildfires around it, which are being fanned by severe Santa Ana winds and dry plants, reported AccuWeather.
Mandich's fire was extinguished by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
She was booked into Ventura County Jail and her bail is set at $20,000.
Mandich made her first court appearance on January 10, and has two upcoming appearances set for January 22 and 24.

I agree that she should be charged with arson. Right along with Bass, Newsom, many state officials and assorted lesbians in the fire department.
This is a distraction, she lit a fire that was immediately put out, yes she needs to go to jail but odd you can see no pictures of her AND this story is everywhere but the one about the illegal immigrant who started fires that LIKELY led to the wildfire is barely in the news.
They are playing her up because she is from Kentucky and want to create a narrative.

Stop trying to support the narrative, it has also been posted here about the illegal that LA has so far refused to charge, the one where citizens had to stop him and call in the police.
If you read the article about her deep in it it clearly states the fire she started was immediately extinguished.
Oh, that’s the Woodland Hills fire.
She started the fire in Malibu.
That’s about 40 miles away.
They’re two different fires.
Yet the illegal who was caught with a BLOW TORCH by local residents setting fires is only being charged with “parole violation:”
“The Woodland Hills residents who arrested this man claim he was starting debris on fire in the area, but that, and the fact that he was carrying a blowtorch, isn’t enough for LAPD to pin him for arson.
Detectives are still investigating it as possible arson, but LAPD Assistant Chief Dominic Choi said Friday that there was not immediately enough evidence for that charge.”

All along I was saying she is a distraction, what she did was not the cause of the wildfires.

If there were only an LAPD ran by adults with basic sense.
