California Governor Gavin Newsom expressed his gratitude to the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum.
This is for the support provided in the face of the devastating wildfires that affect Los Angeles County and other areas of the southern part of the state.
Newsom highlighted Mexico's collaboration on social networks, El Universal declared.
The governor ended by noting that Mexican firefighters are already on their way to join the more than 10,000 fighters facing the flames in the Eaton Fire.

Imagine a military cargo plane with a group of people standing in front of it. One of them is Newsom.
There are three flags being held by the group. Newsom is standing directly between the California flag and to its left, the Mexican flag.
To the right of the California flag stood one or two firemen, and on the other side of them was the American flag. Barely in the picture.

Fwiw, I met this crew in Cabo years ago. Very serious about their job. I think firefighting in Mexico is one of the few areas not corrupted by the cartels. I think they’re ok.
Mayor Ass would not allow NYFD to come help with the fires, so Newscum asked medico for help WTF
any sincere competent help is appreciated, all other issues aside
I live in a largely Hispanic neighborhood in the DC Metro area, and we have a fire company that calls itself ‘Bomberos’.
They’ve been excellent here - very quick to arrive, very competent.
Yes seriously? This is a slap in the face of the firefighters of America! It is a slap to President Trump by newSCUM and President Mexican *ITCH who will be deporting all those illegals back home. This is a another sneaky way of hitting back at Trump to make him look foolish. Believe me the rats are evil and evil never ever sleeps! Mark my words this is just for optics and a talking point for the Mexican president when Trump starts forcing tariffs on her.
