Meta's Mark Zuckerberg criticized the Biden administration for pushing for censorship around COVID-19 vaccines, the media for hounding Facebook to clamp down on misinformation after the 2016 election, and his own company for complying in an appearance on the "Joe Rogan Experience" podcast.
Why it matters: Zuckerberg's three-hour interview with Rogan gives a clear window into his thinking during a remarkable week in which Meta loosened its content moderation policies and shut down its DEI programs.
Driving the news: The Meta CEO said a turning point for his approach to censorship came after Biden publicly said social media companies were "killing people" by allowing Covid misinformation to spread, and politicians started coming after the company from all angles.
Zuckerberg told Rogan, who was a prominent sceptic of the COVID-19 vaccine, that the Biden administration would "call up the guys on our team and yell at them and cursing and threatening repercussions if we don't take down things that are true." Zuckerberg said that Biden officials wanted Meta to take down a meme of Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at a TV, with a joke at the expense of people who were vaccinated. Zuckerberg said his company drew the line at removing "humor and satire." But he also said his company had gone too far in complying with such requests, and acknowledged that he and others at the company wrongly bought into the idea — which he said the traditional media had been pushing — that misinformation spreading on social media swung the 2016 election to Donald Trump.

I dunno. Another podcast I listen to talked about Zuck having a moment of clarity and coming to the realization that everyone on the Left was BS'ing him.
And, yeah, I plan on listening to this one as well.
And I'll applaud anyone who sees the light and comes over to the good side. At least Zuck is taking accountability for what he did. So many others are just pretending none of it ever happened.

He knew this was happening and he willingly complied. This mea culpa doesn’t change that. He needs to expose this to a much larger degree, and to much larger audience than an appearance on JRE, and he owes more than an apology.
That said, this is good.
I know someone at Meta. They are not a leftoid wacko and they confirm the pressure put on them. Odd fact, more Facebook users voted Orange Man more than any other social media.

Maybe he’s seeing the light, maybe he’s covering his ass (most likely). Either way, don’t trust suckerberg. He’s a chameleon and follows the directives of whomever in the white hut can make him more money. Snake
Suckerberg’s controlling principles are to go with the flow, ingratiate yourself with those in power, follow the money.
There is no such thing as a “COVID-19 vaccine.” There is a genetically fabricated product ostensibly to mitigate the effects of a genetically fabricated bat virus.
It may or may not work. The jury is out.
But by God there had better be a jury when we are finished investigating and exposing these medical “experts” who have foisted their dreams over what is commonly known as God-given natural immunity.

Yup—Zuck needs to go under oath to Congress with this stuff.
Those officials who contacted him should be subject to criminal charges—.gov seeking to censor Americans is serious stuff.

But that doesn’t jibe with his giving almost half a billion to finance the 2020 mail in ballot drop box fraud or the left leaning bent of the censorship in Facebook long before COVID and 2020 election when his platforms squashed questioning for the non left/woke
