Four people have been injured after a Delta flight was evacuated at the Atlanta airport on Friday morning.
Officials say the flight from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport to Minneapolis-St. Paul aborted takeoff shortly after 9 a.m. on Friday due to an engine problem.
According to a post from the Atlanta airport's X page, passengers deplaned from the Boeing 757-300 aircraft using emergency slides and were taken to a nearby concourse.
During the evacuation, four of the 201 passengers suffered minor injuries, officials said. One was taken to a local hospital. The other three were treated on the scene.
"Nothing is more important than the safety of our people and customers, and we apologize to our customers for their experience. Our focus is to address their immediate needs and get them to their destinations safely," a Delta Air Lines spokesperson told FOX 5.

Likely a terrible decision by the flight crew. The plane looks to be intact.

Four very smart passengers. Guaranteed to be the next 4 millionaires. Time to start wearing a neck brace when going out into the public. Oh. And, you can guess who will be the next customers for some enterprising ambulance chasing lawyer? Yes. I’m sure you can.
A passenger auto has braking measured in the hundreds of pounds. Aircraft have braking measured in the millions of pounds.
Aborted takeoffs have an extreme amount of pressure exerted on the brakes to stop the aircraft. Brake shoes often turn to a red or white hot temperature. The likelihood of a fire (metal fire) is very high and the aircraft brakes usually have to be monitored or cooled with water for hours.
Expediting passengers off of the plane is a safety priority.

Where would you rate it on a 1 to 10 scale?
1st Plaice.
Pretty lame...but not surprising from you
Maybe the pilots joking said, “Hi, I’m your pilot Gavin Newsom and your copilot today is Karen Bass.”
