Bernie Sanders Blames Raging California Wildfires on Climate Change
Breitbart ^ | 01/08/2024 | HANNAH KNUDSEN

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is blaming the raging California wildfires on climate change.

“80,000 people told to evacuate. Blazes 0% contained. Eight months since the area has seen rain. The scale of damage and loss is unimaginable,” the senator began before blaming the devastation not on poor fire management but on climate change.

“Climate change is real, not ‘a hoax,'” he said, demanding President-elect Donald Trump to “treat this like the existential crisis it is.”

MANY HOMEOWNERS LEFT THEIR SPRINKLERS ON & EVACUATED.

THAT DROPPED THE PRESSURE IN THE HYDRANTS.

Independent? LOL a DEMOCRAT really

1) Does NOT learn the proper lesson

2) Pushes a ridiculous Leftist agenda

That’s exactly what Democrats do. Every day of the week.

Dems never take the blame for anything. This “climate change” will be the way they distract people from their failures.

Absolutely. Every weather condition L.A. is experiencing now existed 100 years ago - the warm dry air, the predictably high winds and low precipitation levels. This is the inevitable outcome of building a megalopolis in such an area without bothering to take adequate precautions to minimize the risk.

Bernie: elections have consequences, and no, climate change did NOT cause the fire hydrants to run dry, a shortage of firefighters, a shortage of firefighting equipment, or a failure to clear brush and forest litter for decades ...

many have been predicting for several years that a combination of man-made tinder-dry conditions, lackadaisical attitudes towards firefighting, and KNOWN periodic Santa Ana winds would eventually result in cataclysmic disaster, but were ignored by the ignorant and complacent population as is usual with lone prophets of that kind ... really, all of this brings to mind Poe’s allegory, “The Masque of the Red Death” ...

Aw, man! But the fish in the ocean have too much salt in their diet! They need some fresh water! And besides, salt corrodes my surf board.
