Rick Caruso, a billionaire developer who unsuccessfully ran against Karen Bass for mayor in 2022, said stifled water supply as the Pacific Palisades fire reduces mulit-million-dollar real estate to ashes represents "absolute mismanagement by the city."
"There's no water in the Palisades. There's no water coming out of the fire hydrants. This is an absolute mismanagement by the city. Not the firefighters' fault, but the city's," Caruso, a former mayoral candidate, told Fox11 Los Angeles.

The fire department was more concerned about DEI than in fighting fires.
But the little smelt fishies are fine and that’s the important thing.
This is the “green” agenda. CA state is run by the most radical extremists politicians and bureaucrats.
I know people refuse to believe this but in the wack job world view of these extremists, humans are “An invasive species” that need to be controlled. They don’t think people should be living in these areas at all. So every policy is designed towards that goal
EXCEPT when it affects them or their properties.
I’m surprised that folks are complaining about there being no water to fight the fires. Why waste water to fight fires when there are snail darters and other endangered species that need it more than saving the homes built on hills and valleys, thus destroying the natural environment. (sarcasm alert)
He’s saying the reservoir wasn’t filled. Then somebody on CNBC followed him and said they are filled and that info is publicly available.

According to official records, the reservoirs are currently partially full, around 70-80% depending. Enough to spare a few m\thousand acre feet to save peoples’ ’ houses. In past years they were drained to save the fish, but that may not have been done this year.
It is a cooperative between the extremists and those that want to own the state for themselves by driving people off their land.
