Prince Andrew reported to the POLICE after 'using fake name' amid saga around private investments company

Prince Andrew has been reported to police and accused of using a false name to register a company.

The Duke of York, 64, used the pseudonym 'Andrew Inverness' when in 2002 he set up business Naples Gold Limited with sports retail tycoon Johan Eliasch.

Now Graham Smith, the chief executive of Republic, an anti-monarchy campaign group, has submitted a complaint to Scotland Yard to accuse the prince of using false information in documents filed to Companies House (the LLC registrar).

The Metropolitan Police is currently assessing the report to determine whether any further action is required.

Mr Smith told The Telegraph that Andrew 'must be held to the highest standards' and 'the royals appear to believe they can act with impunity'.

Andrew has used the pseudonym for four companies registered at Companies House.

It is thought to have derived from one of his less well-known titles, the Earl of Inverness, which was given to him by Elizabeth II in 1986 when he married Sarah Ferguson.

Mr Smith said: 'The apparent filing of false information with Companies House may seem trivial, but the UK faces serious issues of fraud committed in this way. While no such fraud is alleged here, surely Andrew must be held to the highest standards.'

The bum’s last name is Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha, but if on any given day he wants to call himself “Inverness” based on one of his many titles, is that really so bad? Is it any less contrived than “Windsor”?

The Duke of York is also known as Earl of Inverness and Baron Killyleagh. Bestowed by the Queen, subsidiary titles are all legal names in that royalty don’t use last names. His father, Prince Phillip, was simply Prince Phillip of Greece and Denmark, and upon marriage to Queen Elizabeth, Phillip Mountbatten Duke of Edinborough. Mountbatten being the most English-sounding of the royal household of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg/Mountbatten.

At least he didn’t call himself ‘Andrew Danger’ or ‘Andrew Delecto’. %^)

In the US inbreeding is confined to mountain folk and Somalis. In Europe they consider inbreeding a sign of royalty and high culture.

To rehabilitate his image, Andrew should volunteer to head up an investigation into the child grooming scandal that you hear so much about nowadays.

His actual last name is Mountbatten-Windsor

The late Queen wanted to ensure that her husbands name would be passed to all of their descendants.

Between Epstein, the recent Chinese spy thing, the questions about where the Yorks are getting their money, Andrew Lownie’s upcoming book on the Yorks, I’d say the House of Windsor is in for another bumpy year...

First cousin marriage is still legal in about half the country.

My post was semi-tongue-in-cheek. The English branch of the Sachsen-Coburg und Gothas began fancying themselves as “Windsors” when anti-Kraut feelings in their realm made their Teutonic origins inconvenient.

Sneering at the Brit Royal family for its German heritage is outdated, in view that Diana Spenser and Katherine Middleton have helped to nearly erase those bloodlines.

I remind you that President Trump has more German blood than the current top three in the British line of succession: Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George.

I’m not sneering at them for being Germans. I’m sneering at them for pretending to NOT be Germans starting with the wars in which their Teutonic history was inconvenient

Only good thing the IRA ever did was to blow up that Pedo, Lord Mountbatten.
